Avery sat in the same car as Lydia and Kira with Malia behind the wheel gripping it tightly while Lydia sat in the passenger seat and Kira and Avery sat in the backseat
"Okay, hands on the wheel at ten and two" Kira said
"Actually the recommended position is now nine and three, at ten and two, a deployed airbag could break your thumbs" Lydia spoke from the passenger seat turning her head to meet a gaze with Kira before turning back to the front
"Mine would heal" Malia said frowning
"Save your strength" Lydia turned towards Malia with raised eyebrows "and try not to destroy your beautiful new car, nine and three" Lydia added moving Malia's hands down the wheel
Malia tightened her grip before looking back up at the direction the car was pointed at getting flashbacks from when she was in the car accident but felt a hand on her shoulder making her turn to see Avery slightly smiling at her
Malia nodded before turning back to the front and turning on the car slightly pushing on the pedal "alright just ease into it, good, okay, there you go" Kira spoke
"Please shut up" Malia said trying to concentrate on what she was doing
"No problem, shutting up"
Avery couldn't help the chuckle that left her lips as she watched Malia slowly go onto the other side of the road
"Uh, other way, other way, Malia, other way" kira said but Malia continued to go side ways until the went onto the grass beside the road "oh god we're gonna die" Avery muttered to herself
"We are now off the road, yeah this is not the road" Lydia said
"Other way, Malia please go the other way" kira repeated but then a beeping starting going off in the car and Avery had to cover her mouth with her hand to stop herself from laughing Knowing that everything with helping Malia drive was going terrible
"What is that? what is beeping? Malia asked heading the annoying repetitive beeping ringing in everyone's ear that Avery now wanted to punch annoyed with how it wouldn't stop until Malia would go back onto the road even though Avery knew that Malia wouldn't
"The car is telling you not to run into the tree" Lydia answered getting slightly concerned for everyone's safety "turn the wheel"
"Malia if you don't want us to crash, turn the wheel" Avery said leaning forward slightly but when she noticed they were just about to crash she leaned back and immediately Mira grabbed her hand terrified
"MALIA!" Lydia yelled but as soon as they were about to hit the tree Malia turned the wheel so they just missed it making Avery sigh in relief
"And try to stay on the right side of the road" kira said still clinging to Avery's hand
