Lydia, Malia and Avery walked through the double doors and into the high school while Lydia held a book that Malia had found last night while in Tracy's room
Avery peeped over Lydia's shoulder looking down at the book cover noticing that the people on the front looked exactly the same as the masked men she saw not long ago
"The dread doctors by T.R Mcammon" Lydia read the front of the book before stopping looking down at the book making the two other girls stop behind her "What?" Malia asked thinking that maybe Lydia realised something I'd had seen them before
"I don't know" Lydia answered starting to walk again "something about it, has anyone actually read it yet?"
"Just me and I didn't understand any of it" Malia said walking beside Avery "we should probably all read it" Avery said which Malia nodded "Kira's working on it"
The three girls walked over to Malia's locker and as she opened it grabbing books she needed she spoke "Stiles says he can't find anything of the Author, he thinks it's a pin name"
Lydia flipped the book around in her hands and begun reading it "in a small New England town, teenagers are taken in the night and buried alive" she stopped reading to look up at Avery who had the same knowing expression so she continued reading "days later they emerge transformed, wreaking havoc and spreading terror, commanded by an ancient order of para scientists known only as the dread doctor's"
Avery tilted her head slightly "sounds vaguely familiar"
"How does it end?" Lydia asked
"It doesn't, this is supposed to be volume one" Malia answered
"Let me guess, there is no volume two" Lydia said
"I think we're living volume two" Malia said back which Avery nodded "and I think your right"
"Then maybe the real question is, is this a novel or someone's prediction?" Lydia said looking back down at the book

Avery was walking to her next class with Malia and Lydia but then Scott stopped her by holding a hand out "can you come with me to talk with Theo?"
Avery immediately wanted to shake her head desperately not wanting to go any where near Theo but instead she nodded "yeah sure"
"Great come on he's in the locker room waiting for us" Scott held onto her hand as they both squeezed past all the teenagers in the hallway and towards the locker room and when it came into sight Avery regretted coming with him but she walked in ignoring the feeling and saw Theo leaning on a locker But when he noticed Scott he pushed himself off of the locker and when he realised Avery was next to Scott he couldn't help but let a small smirk come onto his lips while she remembered the dream she had last night
