Five days had passed and the pack had gotten more distant with each other they didn't really talk much but when they do it's only about the dread doctors or chimeras
The only people who Avery actually talks to is Stiles and Malia
Avery had told the others about her and Theo and they all were happy for her knowing how hard it was for her to admit her feelings to someone but there obviously was Stiles who did not want them together since he still didn't trust Theo but said to the girl that if he did anything stupid and hurt her he would regret it but now Avery was walking the school halls nervously as other students passed like nothing was going on when really there were doctors that were turning kids into chimeras and Avery was terrified that they would jump out at her and take her away
Avery heard her name being whispered in a taunting way and immediately Avery knew who it was so her head snapped to the side as she stopped but only saw a glimpse of her sister
Ever since the pack had gotten distant with each other, Avery saw Allison more and more but instead of hurting her she would just whisper her name and say things like she shouldn't trust Theo but Avery had ignored it and pretended to not notice it until now so she turned her body around so she was now facing the direction where she saw Allison and walked towards the spot but then a shadow in the a surprisingly empty corridor but than suddenly the lights turned off making Avery's body stiffen and as she looked around she now noticed that there was no one in sight like everyone had just vanished into thin air
Her heart was beating at a rapidly fast pace while she took a hesitant step forward towards where the shadow was
Her hands that were hanging beside her were shaking slightly and with every step she took closer to the end of the corridor they got even more shakier making it more noticeable
Avery doesn't really get scared that easily but recently she feels as if her heart would pop out of her chest by being so scared
When Avery peeped around the corner she felt her breathing get heavier while a lump formed in her throat seeing her sister holding a chain and spinning it around staring straight into Avery's eyes with no emotion
Avery pushed away from the wall and out in the open but as soon as she letted the wall go she felt like her knees would unbuckle from beneath her but she held herself together while Allison walked towards her still swinging the chain around threateningly "Allison, your not gonna hurt me, I'm your sister, I'm your twin sister, we've been through everything together, I love you" Avery's voice cracked slightly as she said those words while tears formed in her eyes
