A mother in this book has nothing to do with gender (male/female). It only has to do with the parent that carried the child in their womb or is the parent that is more maternal. Not all of the families will have a mother because two fathers is perfect as well. A family with one parent is also perfect. Every family has different dynamics, and I hope that my dear readers will respect the diverse family dynamics.

Positions in the Pack
Alpha - Leader of the pack
Luna - Mate of the Alpha, equal to the Alpha when the Alpha is a good leader
Beta (Namjoon)- right beneath the Luna, Alpha's right hand
Theta (Jin) - right beneath the Beta, leader of the warriors
Gamma (Yoongi) - right beneath the Theta, leader of the hunters
Zeta (Hoseok)- right beneath the Gamma, leader of the medical workers
Eta (Jimin) - right beneath the Zeta, leader of the night guard
The Luna (when the Alpha does not allow them to be equal), Beta, Theta, Gamma, Zeta, and Eta make up the Alpha's council, closest friends, and mate.
Pack Subgenders
alpha - strongest subgender
beta - middle subgender with the dullest scent
omega - weakest (in physical strength) subgender with the most alluring scent
The positions in the pack and subgenders are two different things altogether. However, the wolves holding the positions in the pack are always going to be alpha subgendered (except the Luna).
