The sun was shining on the October evening. Tom could see the leaves falling off the trees and onto the ground. He cringed at the thought of these once beautiful magnificent trees just dying because of a little cold weather, it was pathetic.

It was early in the morning. Tom rarely slept but when he did he makes sure he wakes up earlier than others, Time is precious and he is not going to waste some of it on sleeping.

It was Saturday and he had a plan. A little devious plan that would overall help him in his future he had. Marcelline Dubois had proven to him she is an exceptional witch and he wants her on his side.

So Tom knew what he had to do. Tom was a very handsome and charming man, he knew this and so did others; he would offer to take Marcelline to Hogsmeade. He would charm his way into that pretty little brain of hers until he knew just about everything she did. He would make her bow down to him and kiss his feet if he wished.

The thought of having someone so high up, someone with such a powerful family, someone as strong and beautiful as her bowing down to him as he walked made him shiver with excitement. She would make a beautiful trophy.

He has come accustomed to meeting her in that very little table in the back of the library. Sometimes they would talk or others they enjoyed the quietness with each other, reading as many possible books as they could. It was nice, thought he would never admit it, he didn't feel so lonely in the world no more. Someone finally was almost up to his level, someone he could actually relate to without having to put fear in them.

Tom threw on a green pull over sweater and tan pants. He cringed at himself but knew he looked somewhat dashing in these muggle clothing.

He walked into the corridors, taking points from any student that seemed unworthy of them. He loved being prefect. He loved having that power over people.

What caught his eye was his dear friend Abraxas, talking to some girl at the entrance of the Great Hall. He knew Abraxas had many flings and he knew he used women like a toy, then tossed them to the side like they were never there. He did not care simply what he did with those stupid girls, but when he walked closer and seen those green eyes he grew so familiar with, he couldn't help but bubble up with anger.

"Abraxas" Tom said standing behind him with a tall and empowering force. Abraxas took his eyes off the pretty girl and was met with his leader he feared so much. Usually Tom never interfered with him and his toys but Tom seemed to be angry, this made Abraxas shake on the inside.

Marcelline was simply so confused when Abraxas Malfoy, the boy whom she had hexed only a month ago, came running up to her with conversations. He had first apologized dearly for what he had done and she just nodded hoping to get away from him as possible, he had then started to make some stupid jokes about other times he had done that same trick and how stupid the person look when they fell. Marcelline didn't fine it amusing at all but faked laugh a little in hopes he would be satisfied and leave.

When Tom Riddle arrived she couldn't help but to admire him. He looked quite beautiful in green, matching his porcelain skin so well. She cursed herself for feeling such useless feelings. She noticed the fear he had put in Abraxas and smirked a little, oh how she wished he had came a little sooner so she wouldn't have to endure that useless conversation.

"Abraxas I believe that you belong up in the common room, it is simply way too early for you to be up. We have much important things to discuss today so I suggest to get as much rest as possible" Abraxas nodded fastly and took off without glancing back at either of them, leaving them alone in the big hallway.

"Good Morning Marcelline, was Abraxas trying to bother you again?" Tom said staring at the girl and he noticed she looked so innocent with big green eyes staring up at him. He would ruin that.

"Quite the opposite, he was actually apologizing for the stupid act he had done but then started explaining how he had done it many times before. I believe that it was a pathetic excuse of trying to flirt" Marcelline said and she saw Tom clench his jaw just a little but went back to his charming, calm self.

"Do you not want him to do that no more?" Tom said.

"I find flirting and dating a waste of time. He would never be on my level and I simply don't have the time for childish things such as dating. And if I'm being honest he quite disgust me. I know what he does and I am not a stupid girl to fall for his tricks." Marcelline said and Tom internally let out a sigh of relief.

"Well then I can make sure he won't do that again. I did have a question for you Marcelline"

Marcelline nodded used to Tom asking many questions by now, he was a curious man.

"I have to go to Hogsmeade to get a couple things and I think it would be lovely if you would join me" Tom said staring down at the small girl. She was much shorter than him but radiated this power you would think she would be 10ft tall.

"That would be lovely Tom, but I must assure you that I do not do dates. As I said before I find them useless. So I must make sure that this is not a date and if you had any intentions of it being so then I will not go" Marcelline said with authority.

"You think so lowly of me. My Marcelline, you shock me everyday. I do not want a date with you but simply your company. You are the only one that can actually understand what I am talking about and it is quite refreshing than my other thick headed friends"

Marcelline nodded with a small smile.

"Great. I will pick you up at your common room Tomorrow morning. I will see you then Marcelline" he said sending a small smile back to her which made her breath stop for a minute and she watched him walk into the Great hall. She couldn't help but be a little excited for Tomorrow morning and his words echoed within her head.

"My Marcelline, you shock me everyday"
