After getting Cherry and Kami bandaged up, luckily with no serious injuries. I told Flame everything.
"So you just knew? Cause I don't know how it would just come out of your mouth." Flame asked, I shook my head.
"I think it might have to do with this?" I took out my Pokedex, showing it to Flame, who stared at it curiously.
"What is it?" Flame asked.
I pointed the Pokedex at his Mudkip, as it gave all the information about it.
"Mudkip, the Mudfish Pokemon. A water type. The fin on Mudkip's head acts as a highly sensitive radar. Using this fin to sense movements of water and air, this Pokémon can determine what is taking place around it without using its eyes." The Pokedex recited, Flame's eyes shown.
"This gives information on Pokemon?" Flame asked. "Who made it? He asked."
"My father did." I said proudly.
"Wow, he must be a genius!" Flame complimented.
"Well, he's only the leader of the Aether foundation." I responded
"You're kidding, right?" Flame asked. "I love the Aether foundation's technology!"
This might actually be a long conversation.

Ever since then, I figured out that pokemon love to battle. I made sure that Kami, Flame and Cherry learnt the basic mechanics of battling!

"Pikachu, use thunderbolt!" I called out, Pikachu jumping up, before producing sparks of electricity.
"Pika... CHUUUUU!"
"Charmander! Use... Uhh" Kami quickly took a look at the pokedex. "Ember!"
"Charmander! CHARRRR!"
