Twilight, Celestia and Alexander had been terrified by the hollered noises that rang outside, they'd run inside and hid under the lounges, whimpering in fear.

After the fireworks, dinner and dessert, the place began to get quieter as people gradually left, as well as Alexander who went to find Aaron. Celestia and Twilight decided to set off and find their parents.

Even though their vision isn't the greatest, they are powered by their heightened nose.

"Ahh! Auntie Katelyn has bent over to me again! What do I do?!" Celestia yapped.

Twilight ducked around at her best friend, "You mean the one who's usually on television?"

"Yeah!" Celestia whined, "She wants to pick me up!"

"Scram! Daddy's chasing me!" Twilight squealed, with a light touch of laughter in her voice (well, you know what I mean) and ran back inside with Celestia not too far behind. "Man, I wish I knew what those booming sounds were, they're terrifying!" Twilight remarked, hiding under the barstools in the kitchen.

Celestia casually trotted into the room, "Those bangs? Daddy told me they do it for celebrations. I think they're called fireballs," She replied.

"Well, fireballs are terrifying as it is. So! Where should we hide next?"

Celestia yawned, as did Twi. "How about we go to sleep? Mummy said it was eleven 'pee em' or something. I wanna wrap myself in the bedsheets and go to bed."

"I should go to sleep too! My mummy and daddy let me sleep on the end of the bed. Race you!" Twilight exclaimed, jumping up with stairs, and Celeste humbly accepted the challenge.

Because Celestia is bigger, with no surprise, she won.

With the sour feeling of receiving a loss, Twi nestled through her side of the sheets and fell asleep in a tight ball, her fur glowing as she dozed into her slumber.

Twilight woke up to the sweet sound of contagious laughter coming from across the hall, inside the room that belonged to the werewolf couple, Aphmau and Aaron.

The purple-tinted pup gave an arched stretch, before blissfully trotting into the overcrowded room across the hall.

She'd found it filled with people who were laughing at Aphmau's prank.

Twilight had recalled Dante asking Aaron if he had a single fear. Without hesitation, Aaron had replied that he didn't. Travis then argued back that if Aph was taller than him, would he be scared?

Aaron said he'd be terrified if he woke up one morning to find his wife taller than him. They soon went their separate ways, and Twilight remembered she'd found stilts hidden in a wardrobe a couple of days before.

Since Aaron was an early riser, most of them got up early to witness the prank. Katelyn brought in the stilts and helped Aphmau put them on. They tapped Aaron on the shoulder and he gave an almighty scream as he saw his girl, terrifying the unfortunate wolf.

Word had spread around the night before and everyone decided it would be brilliant to record the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

"Twi! Twi! Mummy just scared Daddy!" Celestia exclaimed, as Twilight first entered the room.

"Hey, runts, Aaron said something about pancakes," Alexander piped in.

"Your mummy and daddy went downstairs to make the pancakes too!" Celestia added, tackling Twilight in a playful dog-hug.

The violet pup immediately agreed and ran downstairs where she was greeted by her adoptive parents. As if she had a Twilight radar, her dad picked her up and drew her in for a cuddle and comfortable scruff behind the ears.

"Good morning," Twilight barked, giving her dad a wet lick on the cheek.

Just as Zane was wiping off the saliva from his cheek, the pup used the opportunity to escape from his arms.

Much to Twilight's dismay, the room filled up with an adjourned echo of cheer and delight as the whole crew came downstairs in their pyjamas.

The puppy scuttled under Zane's legs and buried her nose into the hem of his checkered grey pants.

"Why are you hiding down there like a chicken!?" Celestia protested.

"I'm not a chicken!" Twilight argued back.

"You eat chicken."

"So do you!"

"You know all these people. There's my daddy, my mum, Aunite Katelyn, that trash guy, Remmi, Auntie Katelyn's brother, soccer guy, Uncle Gar, blueberry guy, the whole shebang," The blue husky replied, causing Twilight to growl and roll her eyes.

Twilight noisily gasped, "Daddy's pouring food!" She yelled.

"Food!" Celestia screamed, scuffing her paws against the slippery tiles as she ran. Twi did the same.

The younger pup began devouring her food, glanced up and watched as Kasey and Remmi left with grins plastered on their faces. They were also dressed in their everyday clothes. Had they disappeared and come back? Where were they going?

"Hey Cel, did you see that?" She asked.

"See what?" Celestia asked, jerking her head up from her bowl.

"Light-blue-haired guy just left with Remmi."

"So what? They're friends, why wouldn't they do that?"

"I don't know, it's weird. There's something off with that Kasey guy."

"It's probably nothing," Celestia concluded, beginning to get angry with Twilight. "Get over it."

Oh, but something was up with the pair, and no one had actually seen it coming.

Well, except for Nana and Katelyn.
