(LIVING ROOM CAMPING)

"WHY WOULD WE SLEEP DOWNSTAIRS OF ALL PLACES?" Zane asked, throwing his hands into the air.

"Well, why not?" Laurance snapped, accompanied by a glare at the lad.

"I think it sounds fun," Kim answered, "We could use it as an opportunity to get to know each other a little better."

"Plus, with the leaks in the basement and the unpredictability of the trees, sleeping in our rooms doesn't sound safe," Lucinda added as she filed her nails leaning against Laurance without wrecking her hair.

"How are we ever going to survive?" Aph complained, tucking her knees to her chin.

"I think I'd feel better if we all slept down here," Remmi said aloud.

"All right, but where are we all going to sleep if that's the case?" Aaron asked except Dante knew the answer.

"Why don't we collect the air mattresses from the cupboard upstairs, you know near the linen? We can easily set those up," Dante suggested.

They immediately agreed, but Tatiana reeled in their attention with a sharp whistle so the group could hear her out. "Guys! I'm sorry, I know the whistle is kind of loud, but listen. How are we supposed to blow up the mattresses if there's no power?"

The group groaned in response at Tatiana's point, plopping themselves back in their spots. "Doesn't the basement have pull-out mattresses?" Travis suddenly fired and they desperately ran downstairs to make sure it hadn't flooded.

But thanks to their immediate alterations there was barely any water damage since they last checked. With sighs of relief, the guys brought upstairs the eight mattresses relatively the size of a singular bed that were used as couches.

Many of them divided themselves up into couples, while some offered to sleep on the couch or literally on the carpet.

They stayed up until eight o'clock that evening, having a brief dinner of peanut butter or Nutella sandwiches, also finding out that Dante had an allergy to hazelnuts that he thought had gone away. Good thing they had an epi-pen.

If they were hungry after that (hypothetically looking at Garroth), they raided the pantry and snacked on cornflakes because they were seemingly healthy, at least according to the blonde werewolf.

For three hours before getting ready to pass out from their long day they placed an obtuse and heavily defined gave of 'two truths and a lie', followed by a hallucinating game of 'Never Have I Ever' accompanied by brandy shots.

Nana was happy to realise that she had the opportunity to drink for the first time in three months. She made sure not to become not to overdo it and become drunk like Travis and Dante had who passed out on the floor.

Together they mumbled their good nights and most of them fell asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillow.

The typhoon dragged on for another two days ending on the fifteenth of July after beginning on the twelfth. A staggering amount of rain had fallen and been collected measuring to be one of the largest typhoons the community had seen in a while.

On the morning of the sixteenth, they were welcomed by a warm sun and clear sky throughout the town. Cadenza was sure to bring back Zane and Nana's engagement party as she would've done before.

But, before that, they assisted around the town for four gruesome days helping the locals and nearby residents to tidy up the town any way they could.

They swept streets, drained excessive water, raked leaves and assisted the best they could do. Including setting up a beach clean-up to pick up the rubbish, and helping animals who'd fled their homes, while some of them got stuck in the litter.

They used the next Saturday to relax before getting ready to have another party.
