PART.2 ↴

Luminescent forms bundled many of the victims, while Zane engaged real physical features.  Zane was actually a meif~wa, as was Becca. Aaron's ultima fangs, ears and tail emerged through its coverage of dye, as had Nana's prime meif~wa features, radiating with an unpleasant hot pink.

Tatiana's was different, wolf ears, fangs and tail illuminated her human body like an illusion, following her as she moved. The girl swore her eyesight and senses had been dialled up to fifteen from a nine, she realised her entire surroundings had a different perspective.

Behind Kim exposed a sincere reflection of Emmalyn but as a humanized ghost. If you were passing by you could've thought she was an ordinary girl, Kim on the other hand felt crammed inside. Memories fled through her mind like a tsunami.

True to her word, Lucinda revealed features as if she were her past self, her ambered eye glowed as magic flew through her.

Laurance and Vylad's selves were traumatising, to say the least, in their unfortunate shadow knight forms. Garroth and Aphmau on the other hand, not only revealed their werewolf features but also their divine warrior selves.

Low and behold; Esmund the Protector and Irene the Matron.

Aph literally possessed the Irene eyes once again but also formed the wings behind her. As for Garroth, he wielded the sword as well as the protective aura as Aph had. Becca's was an odd mix between Catherine the Flower, and a Shadow Knight (her baby was somewhere in the spirit world during that, don't worry), her blonde hair glowed, while ash black wings came from her vertebrae.

Lucinda was astonished. Revealing their unknown identities was something she hadn't considered while constructing the potion.

"You're a meif~wa?"

"You're freaking Irene!"

"Those are Shadow Knights!"

"She's a werewolf!"

"That's a ghost."

"Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters! Right... not exactly the time, it felt appropriate at the time."

"There goes my day."

"I don't think it was that bad..."

The last comment belonged to Lucinda. As soon as the magic came, it disappeared on command even.

Even Zane's ears and tail decided to go back undercover.

Cadenza's jaw couldn't help but hang open, not until Remmi lifted it back up. Their arguments overlapped for a full ten minutes until Dante began scrolling through the standard news to drain out the commotion, mostly directed at Lucinda.

Dante almost gave everyone a heart attack when he screamed, literally screamed. The lad's voice had come out shaku and everyone tried to hold in their shock.

Not by Dante's scene, but what was on the screen.

Actually, it was Katelyn Parker, reporting in from Kyushu back to Falcon Claw with her co-host Malachi. Katelyn was a news reporter. The co-host of the biggest news in Ru'ann. But apparently, Dante hadn't known about that.

A headset microphone had been fitted around her right ear as the microphone curled in around her mouth. The girl's shoulder-length blue waves blew back in the brisk breeze, as she overlooked a gorgeous highlighting view of the coast.

The others could only imagine Travis fiddling with the camera as he filmed her during the interview and she checked in with the evening news back home.

"Thanks, Malachi, it's great to be able to check in with you guys. I'm ecstatic to be able to get right back in while on summer break in Kyushu."

"Glad to hear from you! So, Katelyn, how are things down there?"

"I guess I could say I'm in the 'future', compared to you guys, via the international time zones, but it's been great so far. The beaches are wonderful, as are the radiant cherry blossoms. It's barely rained since we've been here but the forecasts predict brief showers later this week."

"That's awesome. Well, Katelyn, we're counting down your days until your arrival back to the studio."

"Thanks. Well back to you Malachi and the evening highlights. Thanks again."

Laurance grabbed the remote and quickly turned off the TV.

"How many of you knew she was a new reporter?" Dante asked.

Nana, Zane, Aaron, Aphmau, Garroth, Kim, Lucinda, Kasey and Remmi all raised their hands.

"Perhaps you paid attention to the news instead of watching your hopeless romantic comedies?" Remmi fired back, crossing her arms over her chest.

Dante sighed, "Has anyone else been hiding something from this group?"

"Zane's a meif~wa!"

"Nana's the primos meif~wa!"

(about Beca's alter-ego this was supposed to be in lost frequencies but I didn't get to finish it. I might, I might not)
