(Y/N): Your First Name

2nd Person's POV

"Who is it?" you asked as you opened the door of your house, seeing Albert standing with a bouquet of roses.

"Lord Albert!" you exclaimed as he tipped his hat to you.

"Good morning, (Y/N)," he greeted, giving the bouquet to you.

"G-Good morning, and thank you..." you muttered, looking at the flowers with a confused expression.

"What brings you here? I thought we were going to meet at the orphanage?"

"I just thought it would be better if I gave you a ride since we're going to the same place," he answered as you saw the carriage waiting behind him.

"I-I couldn't!" you waved your hand, "It'll be bad if people see me in a carriage with you,"

"We can just draw the curtains," he reassured, "And I'm sure it gets tiring to walk every time,"

You bit your lip as you looked down at your feet. The soles of your shoes were worn out and looked like it was about to come off.

"...All right..." you gave in, "It would be nice to get a break," you smiled, a little nervous yet excited to share a carriage with the Earl.

"Thank you again for the flowers," you beamed, smelling the roses, "They're beautiful,"

"I'm glad you like them," Albert smiled back, "I thought of you when I saw them," he added, making you freeze up.

"I-Is that so?" you muttered, looking away to the curtained windows, feeling your face heat up.

'Calm down... It probably doesn't mean anything...' you deeply inhaled as you regained your composure.

"The ladies must fawn all over you if you talk to them like that," you joked as the carriage stopped abruptly.

"Lord Albert," the driver opened the door, and you could hear the children screaming and laughing from the orphanage as Albert walked out.

As you slowly walked out of the carriage, your heel got caught in a gap and snapped in half.

You started to wobble and stumble out the door, the pavement inching closer to you.

"(Y/N)!" Albert called out, catching you just in time but smashing the bouquet in the process.

"T-Thank you," you muttered, hopping on one foot as you stood up, seeing your right heel broken.

"I guess it was a good idea to take the ride," you nervously chuckled, making Albert breathe out a smile.

"Here," he wrapped an arm around your waist as he placed your arm on his shoulders, careful not to touch anything inappropriate.

He carefully led you to an open bench as you hopped on his side.

"I'm fine," you reassured, but it didn't seem that Albert was listening as he laid you down gently, "I didn't even break anything,"

"(Y/N)!" you heard a couple of children call out, running up to you in a hug.

"What's wrong?"

"Did you hurt yourself?"
