2nd Person's POV

"I have no memory agreeing to this,"

"Should've thought of that before asking me to marry you then,"

"Guess I should've read the fine print," Sherlock smirked, making you smile.

"True," you teased in a sing-song voice as you tightened his tie.

"'cause now you're stuck with me," you showed off your engagement ring to him, "Forever...!"

Sherlock rolled his eyes as he playfully pushed you away, making you giggle.

"Okay, but Beetlejuice? Really?" he asked, loosening up his tie and looking down at the black and white striped suit.

"I thought you liked Beetlejuice?" you questioned, remembering how he was the one who invited you to go see the play.

"We even went to see it more than once,"

"I think he's fine," Sherlock shrugged his shoulders, "I always went with you because you looked like you were having fun," he answered, surprising you.

"Y-You should have said something if you didn't like going! I wouldn't have forced you to go with me every time..."

"I didn't say anything about forcing me," he smiled as he ruffled your hair, "Watching you enjoy yourself is good enough,"

You felt your cheeks heat up as you turned away, hiding your expression from Sherlock.

'This man...' you grumbled, taking breaths as you calmed your heart.

"What about you? Where's your costume?" Sherlock asked as he looked back at you.

"O-Oh, right!" you exclaimed as you ran to your closet, pulling out your costume.

It was a black, long-sleeved lacy dress that matched Lydia Deetz's style.

"Hm," Sherlock hummed, looking at the dress, "I thought you'd wear the red wedding dress,"

"I thought about it too, but it was pretty hard to move around," you sighed, remembering the number of things you bumped into back when you tried one.

"Plus, you know the saying: Married in red, better off dead? I don't want to unconsciously bring bad luck to us," you explained, dusting off the dress.

Sherlock pursed his lips as he covered his mouth, fighting back a smile.

"Did you want to be married to me that badly?" he joked with a lopsided smile, making your face heat up.

"As if!" you denied, throwing the dress at him, but he evaded it with no effort.

You scoffed as you grabbed the dress, glaring at your fiance as your eyes drifted to his ring.

'Oh yeah...' you thought, looking down at your own engagement ring.

"Should we leave our rings at home?" you asked Sherlock, making him raise a brow.

"Why?"

"Just in case, you know? I don't wanna lose them," you explained, holding onto your ring tightly as you approached him.

"Besides, you've made me look for your skull ring-"

"-Nice try," he muttered, raising his hand out of your reach, "But you're not getting this back," he grinned, making you scoff in disbelief.

You tried to grab his hand, but he was too tall. Going on your tiptoes and even jumping didn't help.

"Sherlock!" you shouted, but he wouldn't give in.

"Ugh..." you groaned in defeat, making you cross your arms.

"Fine... But you better not lose it,"

"Wouldn't dream of it," he reassured, kissing your forehead.

You bit your cheek as your lips started to smile, making you turn away and grab your costume.

"Now, shoo," you pushed Sherlock out of the room, "I need to go change,"

"Why? It's not like there's something I haven't seen before,"

"OUT!"
