"Bhabi!"

She groaned in frustration after hearing the loud voice outside her room, as much as she loved hanging out with him, her body wasn't cooperating, it was begging for rest.

She would've been sleeping by now if not for her overbearing bua ji who wouldn't stop pestering her every chance she got.

"Come in." She managed to say, adjusting her clothes as she waited for Mihir to enter the room, and surprisingly, he wasn't alone, Rahil followed behind him. "Bhaii.." She acknowledged his presence, pushing the blanket off of her.

"Relax..aap araam karo." Rahil waved his hand dismissively, "We just wanted a little help." He scratched the back of his head. (You Relax)

"Take a seat please." She said, making space for them even though she didn't need to, the king-sized bed was big enough to fit four adults.

Mihir pulled out the laptop from Rahil's hands, opening it, "So it's a really tough task.." He started, making her look at him skeptically, "for us bhabi, for us..aapke to daayein hath ka khel hai." He added looking at her expression. (It's a right handed game for you)

"Baayein haath ka hota hai." Rahil slapped the back of his head, making him whine. (It's left handed)

"Kya hai bhai." He cried, "Bhabi left-handed hoti toh?" He asked, putting all of his brain in that one sentence. (What is it bhai? What if she was left handed?)

"Get to the point." Rahil narrowed his eyes at his little brother.

"Aapka jyada ho raha hai maine Avni bhabi se shikayat kar deni hai." Mihir warned him with a glare, trying to imitate their elder brother, who was an expert in glaring at people, it was like his favorite hobby. (You are having too much fun, I'll complain to Avni bhabi)

"I'll tell dadi that you were the one who broke her expensive walking stick," Rahil warned back, Roop just smiled at the pointless banter.

She cleared her throat, reminding them of her presence in her own room which didn't seem like her room to herself, she felt like a guest in here, an unwanted guest but she was too experienced with that feeling that it didn't affect her anymore.

"Right..the problem." Mihir widened his eyes, "Bhai ne hume 10 minute ka time diya tha." He looked at his watch not paying attention to now scared Roop, as soon as she heard the word bhai, she stilled. (Bhai gave us 10 minute time)

She didn't know what to expect because he never cared for her so why does he have some work, that too from her? Or maybe she was just overthinking the situation.

"Can you edit this document? We've edited it two times but Bhai is still not satisfied and you know his anger..so help us please." Rahil said to her, turning the laptop towards her.

She wanted to tell him No, she didn't know his anger, she didn't know anything about him except for his name and a few things she got to know from the family members. She probably knew a film star better than she knew her husband of three months.

"Sure." She sighed in relief, her eyes skimming over the document before she made a few changes. "It was just a few words here and there." She told them after she was done, passing the device back to him.

Her eyes went back to where his name was written, oh how foreign it sounded to her.

"You know agar aapne pehle se hi wo publishing house ka contract na sign kar rakha hota to Bhai would've hired you, he's tired of everyone making mistakes." Mihir shook his head. (You know if you haven't already signed a contract with that publishing house..)
