Summary: Y/n gets a haircut to where her hair is quite boy-ish and when she gets home, Jenna doesn't notice it's her and thinks it's an intruder.

HERE WE GO!

Y/n's POV:

I just got a haircut and I'm not gonna lie, I really like it. I really do, I suit it a lot and when I put my blue-light glasses on, it made me look even better. I'm excited to show Jenna my haircut when I get home, I'm 2 minutes away and I can't wait to see how she reacts to my new hairstyle.

I hope she likes it.

I'd be annoyed at myself if she didn't like it but then again, it's Jenna. She's supportive of anything I do. She'll love it... right? I don't wanna overthink it— well, I'm already overthinking it but I wanna stop overthinking it.

I turn into our driveway to our home and once I turn the car off and get out, I shut the door and lock my car, turning toward the front door and make my way toward the door, I get the key ready and hum as I have my earphones in, my phone being in my pocket.

Please, Dear God, let Jenna like it.

Jenna's POV:

I'm sitting in my room right now and I have my headphones on, I'm listening to some music while answering emails and doing a bit of writing but I'm thinking of reading, I don't know. My girlfriend, Y/n, said she had some sort've surprise for me but I had to wait annoyingly enough.

I tried to go with her yet she didn't want me too, told me that it'd be better if when she came home, I saw it. She's texted me throughout the haircut but I haven't heard from her in about 40 minutes and I don't know when she's coming home.

Hopefully she comes back soon as I really wanna tell her about this idea that I have and I don't know if it's any good or not and I wanna hear her opinion on it, so, I really need her to come back soon. I wrote it down in my journal so I don't forget.

I hear something downstairs, and move one ear muff off of my ear and behind it, waiting for another sound to be heard,

"Yeah?" I call out, not hearing anything in return. Thinking Y/n was home but nothing. I shrug, dismissing it. Probably just my imagination. I tend to do that a lot. I continue to type on my laptop, answering an email to my agency before going onto word and continuing to write. I keep the ear muff behind my ear, and as I listen to the music, the slight drizzle of rain outside and an odd creaking noise downstairs, my heart races. "H—Hello?" I call out, again. Not hearing anything in return again. I let my shoulders fall, dismissing it again. I reach over to my bedside table, grabbing a french fry and taking a bite. "I gotta save some." I tell myself, brushing my hands against one another before continuing to type, humming to my music and bopping my head.

"Jenna." I hear a voice shout to me, do I know that voice? It sounds a little familiar but over the music, it's sounds a little odd.

"Hm?" I hum in reply, not hearing anything in return. I once again, look up from my laptop, waiting to see if whoever was there would come into the room. Nothing. I wait and wait but nothing. Not a single thing happened. "Yo, is anyone here?" I shout out, and going to pause my music but there's nothing in return. I go to text Y/n but hear footsteps, making me jump. I glance around, trying to find something as a weapon and find a cable. I stretch it and approach the door with caution.
