Luna's POV:

I'm in the office and typing away on my laptop, doing research as I try to find more information on my new article that I'm about to start working on. I'm so glad that I managed to work for The New York Times.

I seriously don't know how I've done this, I'm scanning the internet and see an article.

Y/n L/n puts her top 12 dresses up for auction!

Now, what in the world is this? I click on the website and begin to read the article.

"The famous Y/n L/n is putting her top 12 dresses up for auction, she states - very clearly - that after the death of her daughter, Alex - who died of Breast Cancer - she is going to sell these mysterious top 12 dresses and give the money to Breast Cancer Research! How lovely, she is.

She has always been very careful with her investments and we can do nothing but support her in these hard times. I think at this moment in time, all we can do is pray for better times for the most famous actress of the 50s-90s." As my eyes read the lines, I feel myself smile. It's true, Y/n L/n - although retired - still has so much attention on her, even if it is 2023. I hear a notification on my laptop and look to see it's an email. I read who the email is from and I see that it's— Y/n's assistant?! I read the email, seeing that it says,

"Dear Miss Bishop,

I hope that you can forgive me for this abrupt email but I am in desperate need to talk to you. I have a special request for you, a very special one. One that will sort you for a lifetime. Basically, Miss Y/n L/n would like to see you, Monday Morning at The Calibar Diner, 8:30am. We will wait for about 10 minutes before we have to go.

We hope to see you there, Have a good day Miss Bishop." I feel my mouth fall open in surprise, my heart beating so fast. I can't believe it, I really can't believe it! I'm so excited, I really can't believe Y/n L/n wants to meet me! She has a special request... for me!

It's Monday morning and I've arrived at The Caliber Diner, it's 8:30am on the dot and I walk inside, I glance around and I see Y/n L/n, in the back booth. She still looks like a goddess at the age of 76. I can't believe it. I walk toward her and stop in front of the circle booth, I look and see her and her assistant, both stop talking and turn to me.

"Ah," I hear Y/n let out, her voice raspy yet angelic and beautiful sounding. "there's the star." I hear her state, I look at her assistant for help, some direction and some guidance on what she's talking about and it makes me want to squeal.

"Hi..." I reply, softly. "Miss L/n. It's very nice to see you." I greet her, smiling widely.

"It's very nice to meet you, as well." I hear her say in reply, before beckoning across from her. "Please, sit." She tells me, I nod my head and sit across from her.

"Before we begin... whatever this is, I'd like to thank you both for this opportunity, I really can't believe it." I express to both of them, them sharing a glance and Y/n rests her forearms on the table, offering her most charming smile.
