Lizzie POV

It didn't take much time until I heard a car pull up outside. I opened the door and walked onto the porch to see that this is Scarlett's car.

„I am so so sorry that things didn't go as planned with meeting Cobies parents." I told Scar as I face her a quick hug but she held me longer in her arms.

„It's okay. This is serious and I can always meet my girlfriends parents. Right babe?" scar asked as she looked back at Cobie and she gave her a dreamy smile.

„Anytime babe yes." she answered.

„Are the kids up?" Cobie asked me and I nod as I gave her a hug as well.

„They are getting dressed for school."

„Okay I will drive them today. I think it would be better for them to not be here." Cobie offered and I hummed as we walked on in.

„Well they haven't had breakfast yet and I-."

„Hey kids do you want to go and get waffles before we head off to school?" Cobie yelled out and I heard loud footprints and things crashing upstairs. They seem to be very exited.

„YESS WE WANT WAFFLES!!!" they both yelled out as they sprinted the stairs down.

„Careful kids what did I tell you about running down the stairs?" I warned them lightly as they stopped abruptly.

„We can stumble and fall down." they replied.

„Correct. Now can I get a hug before you guys head off?" I knelled down and they hugged me goodbye before they ran outside to the car.

„Cobie wait." I grabbed her by her shoulder and she stopped for a moment.

„Thank you!!" she smiled and nod.

„Gladly Liz don't thank me for that. I hope things will go smoothly." she replied and I raised my brow jokingly knowing damn well that it won't be easy to have him here.

„Bye babe. See you later." they kissed goodbye and I am truly happy to see scar so in love.

„So. Where is Nora's revolver?" scar asked after she closed the front door.

„A-are you kidding me? I won't let you bring up a gun. We won't need it!" I told her as I walked Into the kitchen to grab my cup of coffee.

„No are you kidding? Cause you had to deal with an ex-psycho-lover once. You know where it ended! I don't want to.. no I mean I can't let this happen again! I am not losing another best friend!"
She warned me and I put the cup down with anger.

„We didn't lose Nora! She's still alive okay. Don't say that."

„I am sorry okay. But he is unpredictable and I am not willing to let him get the upper hand on us."

„Nora got shot with her own gun remember that! If she wouldn't have had It upstairs she wouldn't have gotten perforated with the bullets. Who knows she might be even here with us right now. Here with me.." my vice got lower and scars mimic softened.

„She will be here with you. I promise you that. But I have to protect you from him." she told me as she grabbed my hands.

„Even if you don't have to. You can defend with those fists. I remember how you where beating up the frat boys when they looked at us in a flirty way."

„Hell they deserved that shit and so much more.
I remember those days as if it was only yesterday."
She chuckled as she looked down at her hands.

„See. We don't need a gun. If he has one which isn't really possible i know Robbie. Then we will call the cops immediately." I told her and she nod.

„I am sorry." she apologized as she leaned against the kitchen island.

„What are you sorry for?" I asked irritated.

„That things didn't work out with you and Robbie."

„Are you really sorry? Cause I know you never liked him." I asked and she rolled her eyes.

„I really am. I mean it. You deserve the world and even though I never liked him I still hoped I was wrong in this case. Unfortunately I am right and I know how hard a break up can be. Well it's a divorce so it might be worse I can't tell... never been married. But what I am trying to say is that you do the right thing. Even if it might feel like shit now. You have someone waiting for you."

„Thank you scar and thank you for not rubbing it in with the „haven't I told you!" and stuff like that."

„Oh I will. Just not now cause I learned that I need to have a better... timing.. to be nicer to others."
She told me in a cocky way and I rolled my eyes.

„oh and I think I am the one waiting for someone.. not the other way around." I told her and right before she was able to say anything we heard a car break outside.

„I'll be right behind you." scar told me as we walked out.

„Good to see you too Scarlett." He greeted scar sarcastically which made her role her eyes.

„really? Cause to me it is shitty to see you Arnett."
She told him bluntly and I had to hide a chuckle.
Oh how I love how bold scar can be sometimes.

„I thought we would talk alone? What is it with her?" he asked pointing at scar who stood behind me.

„Oh just pretend as if I am not here alright? I'll just keep an eye on you cause y'know. I don't trust you."

„mhm likewise." he rolled his eyes at her before pulling his attention back to me.

„Did you think through what you said on the phone earlier? Is there anything you want to apologize for?" he asked me and now I really cosine hide my chuckle. What does he even think.

„I don't have a reason to apologize. In fact I don't have a reason to think about my words at all because I meant every single one of them."

„I'm sorry c-can you guys tell me what has been said and done? I don't wanna be standing in the dark." scar asked as she raised her hand.

„You want some popcorn too?" Robbie asked annoyed.

„Lovely yeah that would be great."

„Well why don't you shove that wish right up your ass you-."

„Whoa halo? Stop it right here Robbie."

„No let him finish. So I can finish him."
Scar fired back as I stepped between.

„Y'know what? You weren't a good wife anyway. You never did what I wanted to do."

„Excuse me? Are you for real?" I asked as I looked at him with hatred.

„Yeah. That's right. You barley cooked for me. Or wore anything nice and sexy. You where never in the mood when I was in the mood. You didn't even wanted to give me a blow job."

„I wouldn't wanna suck that dick either." scar mumbled and we both glared at her.

„Your intrusive thoughts are really getting the upper hand right now right?" I asked in a warning way and she raised her hands innocently.

„my bad. Just ignore me." scar replied and I looked back to Robbie.

„The things you've listed up are not really the things a wife should do."

„well my friends wife's do. So why not you huh? You were always „tired" or „not in the mood" I hated it." he spat out and my blood began to boil.
