"Hey y/n!" Harley shouted across the school hallway, running over to you as the bell for period one rang.

"Hey!" You smiled, putting your arm around the girl. She had been your bestfriend since you were little, and you wouldnt trade her for the world. "Happy birthday, fifteen oh my god!" You smiled, walking with her in the hallway headed for your class. Luckily you and her had every single class together, so you saw her pretty much all day.

"Oh yeah, so-" she began as you walked into the classroom, but she was cut off by one of the boys in the class as he shoved you backward. Now everyone knew that you liked girls, you had realized sometime around eighth grade and then suddenly everyone knew. You were fine with people knowing who you were, but you werent fine with the ridicule came with it.

"Hey there y/n," he mocked, staring at you as you turned your attention away from Harley and onto the boy, Jackson. He had bullied you since way before you came out, but since then it had just gotten worse.

"What do you want?" You sighed, Harley grabbing your hand as you spoke, she knew that this stuff made you really pissed, and didnt want your day to be ruined.

"You were texting my girlfriend last night." He spat, putting his hand on your shoulder and shoving you a little bit. "You're not allowed to do that, I dont want your lesbian rubbing off on her." You heard Harley scoff behind you as she listened to the boys words.

"Okay first of all, that's not how that works dip shit." You hissed back, getting in his face, "second, she is my fucking cousin. I can text her when I want to." You stared right at him as he processed your words, realizing how stupid he had been. Sadly the argument between the two of you had gained a crowd, most of the people in the class observing what was going on.

"What do you want to fight me?" He asked cockily, his chest bumping with yours as he stepped impossibly closer.

"Y/n let's just go sit down, he isnt worth-" Harley began, he cut her off, turning his attention back to you.

"Tell your little girlfriend to shut the fuck up." He said, referring to Harley. This pushed you over the edge. You shoved him back, your jaw clenching at his words.

"Dont talk about her like that." You spat, your confidence just rising as more kids from your class circled around to watch. Sadly there was no teacher in the room to stop this from happening, so you just had to go with it.

He barreled at you quickly, his body overpowering yours as he brought you to the ground, the oohs and ahs of your classmates filling your ears. But little did he know, you had an older brother and you knew how to fight someone bigger.

You flipped the two of you over with ease, landing a harsh blow on his nose and causing it to bleed. Unfortunately for you, two of his friends were in your class, and as soon as they realized he wouldn't win on his own, they joined in.

The two of them lifted you up by your arms, your heart racing as you realized the position you were in. Your classmates all immediately started yelling for them to stop, knowing that now they had an aggressively unfair advantage, but they didnt care. As the two of them held you Jackson stood back up, anger coursing through his veins. He coiled his arm back and swung with unrelenting force, his fist connecting with your jaw, a sharp crack sounding out. This continued for a while, your classmates screaming for help.

"Okay hunny, you're all fixed up." The nurse said, sticking another band aid on your face. "Now dont go breaking your face again." She smiled at you, standing up from her chair. Luckily nothing on you was broken. You had a busted lip, a black eye, and a few cuts on different parts of your face. You smiled lightly at the nurse, watching as she left the room. It wasnt even a full minute before the principal strutted in, a folder in his hand.
