"Aneysa" Neteyam walks to her.

She turned around and looked at him.

"I'm sorry, I-" Neteyam tries to speak but Aneysa cuts him off.
"Why did you not tell me my mother called? Why did you not tell me something happened?" She asks him in a calming tone.

"I didn't know how" his voice gets quieter by the end of his sentence.

"You didn't know how?" Aneysa began to get annoyed, "how does one not know to tell the girl they're so overly obsessed with, that something has happened to her mother! I was in the same room asking you what was wrong and you said nothing. You lied to me!"

"I just didn't want to worry" Neteyam says.

"Is there something else I should know about?" Aneysa questions him.

"Aneysa" he looks at her.

"Tell me Neteyam. Is there anything else. That I should know about?" She asks him.

He shakes his head no.

He could not bring himself to tell her.

"It is just, your mother had asked me not to tell you and asked that I come alone. She didn't want you to worry unnecessarily" Neteyam says to her.

Aneysa calmed down a little, turning the other way.

"Aneysa" Neteyam tries to approach her.

"How are you just going to lie to me Neteyam. Why? This is my mother we're talking about. And her health" Aneysa says.

"I'm sorry. I just, I was put in a tough situation. She is your mother after all I did not wish to disrespect what she wanted" Neteyam says.

Aneysa leans her hand onto the railing of the staircase.

"Look. You've had a long day with Mr.Jones and everything. Why don't we get you to bed? Hm?" Neteyam asks.

She nods, her tone being a lot more calmer.

"Yeah. You're right" she looks away from him and makes her way upstairs.

As she gets into her bedroom, Neteyam sits on the sofa, taking a deep breath as he rests his head in the palm of his hands.

Neteyam walks into Aneysa's room not a while after.

As he walks in, Aneysa walks out the bathroom.

"You showered?" He asked.

"I just, needed to cool off. That's all" Aneysa replies.

There was an awkward tension but Neteyam didn't want that.

"Aneysa I'm sorry. I should have told you" Neteyam says.
"No it's fine. She asked you not to tell me, so there was not much you can do" Aneysa replies and smiles at him.

He looks at her and she just gives him a shrug.

"It is not as if my mother and brother ever tell me anything when something is wrong. It is a worry that I'll start taking drugs again" Aneysa says, as she's putting her towel away.

"Would you?" Neteyam asks.

"I don't know. Sometimes I think to because it was the only time I was able to feel nothing. Most days I don't even remember" Aneysa says.

"But, that's not a good thing. You know that, right?" Neteyam becomes concerned.

"It wasn't, no. But if people are so worried then maybe I should. Clearly it is the only thing I am associated with" Aneysa then finishes what she's doing and looks up at Neteyam, "shall we get to bed."
