"Earth!" Cole yelled, snatching his golden scythe onto the deck, the wooden planks shaking as the ground, making the fake snake trip and fall forward. Jay then swung his lightning nunchucks around before charging at another.
"Lightning!" He shouted, using Spinjitzu to whack another fake snake away. [Y/N] gulped as a snake crept early towards her; she felt her stomach turn. Before their training, [Y/N] had made it her goal to use her powers suspiciously, undeterred by the recent incident with Zane. Now, faced with the fake snake, she hesitated, not wanting to use her elemental powers. Her mind raced, urging her to control a nearby shadow, cast by the moon and stars. "Do it!" She yelled at herself, her body not budging.
As the fake snake got closer, controlled by Nya, she resorted to Spinjitzu, creating a purple tornado and taking down the snake. Zane spun his ice shurikens around. "Ice!" he exclaimed, freezing the fake snakes' feet with a well-aimed shuriken.
Nya turned on a bright light, and the four ninjas stood illuminated. "Good training," Nya complimented them. "Your powers are getting stronger," she stated. [Y/N] looked down, embarrassed she couldn't use hers, feeling incomplete as the ninja of shadow.
"But where's Kai?" she asked, and Jay shrugged. "I think I saw him go into Sensei's room." They all walked over to the room.
"Hey, [Y/N]?" Cole grabbed her shoulder. "Are you okay?" he questioned. [Y/N] nodded, "Well ok, just know you can talk to me." Cole reassured her.
In Sensei's room, they found Kai wearing the green ninja suit. "Oh my days," [Y/N] snickered as Kai struck battle poses. "Very nice, perhaps if you tried the phrase 'fire dork,' maybe it might work," Cole chuckled.
As Kai flexed in the mirror, they couldn't hold in their laughter. "How long have you all been watching?" he asked.
"Long enough," [Y/N] said, and Kai sighed. "Whoa, the Green Ninja suit! It looks soo cool!" Jay screamed.
"I was looking for some kind of clue from Sensei, and then I found this," Kai explained. "But you know only he who is foretold to face Lord Garmadon is destined to be the Green Ninja, and only he should wear the Green Ninja outfit," Zane scolded.
"But Sensei's gone, and we don't know when he's coming back," Kai spoke, smiling at [Y/N].
Seconds later, they heard the Bounty door open and close. "Hello? I'm home!" Sensei yelled out. "Sensei!" They all cheered happily, hugging the old man.
"So glad you're back," Zane stated. "Did you bring us anything?" Cole asked.
"Oh, Sensei, have you missed a lot? Zane's a Nindroid, Nya's the mysterious Samurai, Cole's a dancer—" Jay started before Au cut him off, "Zane is a...what?" he asked.
"You've been gone a while. We'll catch you up later. But you should know, all of us except for Kai and [Y/N] have discovered our True Potential," Zane told him.
"Have you now?... Where is Kai?" Sensei peered around. "Right here!" Kai ran up to them in his normal gear. "So glad you're back safe," Kai told him.
Without warning, four black arms suddenly emerged behind Wu before a figure stepped to the side behind him, revealing Lord Garmadon.
"Ahh! Sensei! Behind you!" Kai yelled, going to attack Garmadon. "Sensei!" Zane shouted, jumping in front of Sensei to protect him as Kai swung his sword at Garmadon.
"He must've followed you, Sensei!" Kai stated, and Wu stepped over to Kai and grabbed both of his shoulders, wiping him off his brother. "Kai, stop!" Wu commanded. "He is the reason I left. For so long as Pythor has Lloyd, he will be our guest," he explained. "We have to live with this guy?" Cole shrieked.
"But sensei, he has four arms!" Zane protested. "Uh, must I remind you ever since he turned evil, he's been trying to get our Golden Weapons?" Jay added.
"ENOUGH!!" Sensei snapped, and everything went silent. "Yes, Sensei," the ninja spoke at the same time.
"This isn't about the weapons; it's about my son," Garmadon admitted. "Now to the bridge. We must put our attention to more pressing matters," Wu told them, walking to the bridge. "So, where are we at with the four Fangblades?" he asked in front of the large computer system, and Jay replied, "Oh, Pythor's managed to take the first two, but there's still two left."
"And we only need one to prevent him from unleashing the Great Devourer," Cole updated. "Any luck finding their whereabouts?" Wu asked.
"No, but the Falcon is programmed to alert us if he sees any suspicious activity," Zane stated. "Good. If we find the Fangblade, we find Lloyd. Kai and Nya, prepare the deck and double-check the anchor. We need to be ready when we first get word of activity," Wu bossed, and they both said, "Yes, Sensei."
Before Kai left the room, he whispered to Garmadon, "I have my eye on you." Kai then hit his head on the door frame and winced in pain. [Y/N] went to leave, and Wu stopped her. "[Y/N], may I speak to you."
