The same night in Ninjago City, a snake sprinted through the streets, being chased by the ninja.
"Going somewhere?" Cole asked. The snake only ran faster before Zane stepped in front of him, holding both of his shurikens. "Uh-oh!" The snake backed away as Zane froze the ground, making its balance unstable. Sliding into another direction, it encountered Jay, who struck it with lightning. The snake then ran into an alleyway, only to be met by Kai with his fire sword. As it attempted to turn around, [Y/N] rose from her shadow that had been following him the whole time, blocking his escape. Cole jumped from above a building, cornering the snake and holding him at weapon-point.
"Thought you could joyride through town and not be noticed, eh? Where's the last Fangblade?" Jay asked. "I don't know what you're talking about," the snake screamed. "I know you're lying," [Y/N] stated.
"You know what it is. The fourth Fangblade. When Pythor finds them all, he plans to unleash the Great Devourer," Kai pointed his sword at the snake's neck. "Oh, that Fangblade. Haha, you're too late. Pythor's already there now. He's probably already digging it up. If I were you, I'd start preparing for the worst because when the Great Devourer is awakened, there will be nothing it won't consume!" the snake yelled.
"Won't that mean it'll consume you too?" Zane asked, and [Y/N] laughed. The snake took a moment to absorb this knowledge before freaking out.
"Ah! Please, you have to stop him. That snake is crazy. I don't want to unleash the Great Devourer. I'm a snake, not food!" He hysterically cried out, and [Y/N] looked at him sadly. "Listen, snake, what's your name?" She asked, and the snake stuttered, "S-Spitta." She replied, and [Y/N] smiled. "Well, Spitta, we will do our best, but is it really too late to stop Pythor from getting the last Fangblade?" She interrogated.
"You're days behind him. There's gotta be something else you can do!" He explained, and they all sighed, looking at each other. "Not much, but we can try," [Y/N] spoke, the ninja getting up and walking away from the snake. "Um, good luck!" He yelled out, and [Y/N] looked back at him. "Thank you."
