There have been many moments in my life as Sehyun where I was caught. But never once in any of those times did I feel absolutely frightened. My mom would scold me. I'd apologize and never do it again. Hyung would catch me red handed. Scold me. And we'd come to an agreement then go about our lives. Because there was no danger of loosing my life. But this time. As Kain, as the son of the puppeteer for the Hua organization. My life is at risk every single day, every minute, every second. But the only reason I'm not in vital danger is because I'm an ordinary person. That's my protection. That's my barrier. But what if that barrier was broken? What if they found out I'm not actually an ordinary person? What if...they tell the world I'm an awakened one? Anyone lurking in the shadows of Kains fathers many enemy's would take that chance to get revenge. And I'll once again, lose my life.

'Are you an awakened one?' Those words continued to echo within my head. It's too soon. I was caught too soon. I'll die. I'll die before I can put up a proper fight. I need to come up with an excuse. Anything! Come up with anything!! "...im not" the lackluster response hardly convinced Giwook of my certainty. I tried to make it sound convincing but, the shock and my racing heart couldn't keep calm. If this continues, the real Kain might come out again. "Ahem!" I cleared my throat, taking a deep breath and remembering everything my Hyung taught me. Stay calm. If they asked, then that means their unsure of it as well. If I remain as innocent as I possibly can. They cant force me to prove it. After all, I'm Ilseongs son. No one can touch me right now.

"I'm really not. Its more surprising that you're even asking me this..." I said. "I mean, I'm known to be an ordinary person. After all these years and suddenly I'm awakened? Haha, I really wish I was. So I could help the unaffiliated students..." I forced a saddened look, leaning back into my chair as I fiddled with my fingers. "After all, if I was awakened. I could help them out than he a nuisance" Giwook flinched, noticing my glossy eyes staring down at my fingers. "I understand. I'm sorry I asked. I just needed to make sure. It still doesn't explain what I felt through..." he sighed. "Maybe it was Jiwoo? He's a talented kid, he probably has even more abilities he himself doesn't know about" I internally apologized to Jiwoo for using him. But I'm in a desperate need of trying to get out of this conversation as soon as possible right now. It'll be revealed I'm awakened one day. But not this early at least.

"That makes sense..." Giwook agreed, thinking. "It's getting late. You should go rest, especially after passing out" I got up, bowed, and told Giwook to have a good night then left. Sighing in relief, I was able to dodge that bullet for now. It's only a matter of time before another comes. For now, I need to train myself to suppress my power even more.

The next day, I simply walked around with Kemono. Running into Jiwoo and Casien Nitrate, now taking a walk with them. "Hyung. Do you want to race me?" He asked. "...you know I can't beat you. Although I'm thankful for the suggestion" I laughed. Of course I can't beat Jiwoo who's main power is super speed. "Oh, right. Sorry. I forgot" he rubbed the back of his neck. "Forgetting I'm not an awakened one?" I asked. "Ye-yeah." He stuttered. I blinked. I don't think he'd forget, unless there's a good reason behind that. Or maybe Jiwoo just has good instincts. "Hm" I thought. "As long as you don't use your power then I don't mind racing" jiwoo gasped, eyes sparkling. "Really!?" He smiled, truly happy. It's been a long while since I've ran with someone else. Maybe it'll be a chance of pace for once.

"You two are taking a walk too?" I flinched, dreading the voice I heard. Jiwoo bowed. "Hello Mr.Principal!" He said. I turned around, bowing as well. "Good afternoon sir" Seongik let out a light chuckle seeing the both of us greeting him so respectfully. He still finds it a bit odd to see Kain being so humble. "Is this the cat you commune with?" He turned his attention to Jiwoo, looking down to the chubby orange cat sitting beside Jiwoo. "Yes sir" Jiwoo nervously responded. I let out a huff, turning to look at Kemono sniffing the sea water. Dipping his paw in. "I heard that you can only commune with this cat, yet showed impressive performance" he compliments. "Just as I thought the first time I saw him..." his eyes examined the cat. I glanced at Jiwoo, noticing how nervous he became hearing Seongiks words. "He's very adorable. It's too bad you already have an owner. I really wanted to take you with me. Here, kitty kitty, I brought you a snack" he waved a cat snack in front of Kaydens face. While I let out a little chuckle. "Oh..." Jiwoo easily calmed down.
