As Fahad was going about his work, he noticed a new face in his office waiting area.

Layla?, what is she doing here? He asked himself getting into his office,
He sat there and his assistant started to call patients in. Fahad attended to them but his mind was on how many patients would he to attend to reach Layla's turn.

Finally after checking up two more patients Layla got inside the office.

She had come to seek his professional advice on a difficult case she was handling. Intrigued by her presence, Fahad couldn't help but feel a burst of energy.

"SalamuAlaikum Dr. Layla. I saw you at the patient's queue. Why?" He couldn't help but asked. As a doctor Layla can just seek him directly without any appointment or reservation.

"Well i came to you as a patient today not as a doctor."

"Oh."

"Yes...." She heavily breathed out before she continued.

"You've known at least so many things about my life because I shared all about it that particular day with a patient in your presence and since then we've been talking about many psychological problems...

Layla paused to smile a bit

"You know, talking to you feels like talking to my therapist. It's a safe space where I can open up and share my thoughts and feelings.."

As they sat down for a consultation, Fahad found himself captivated by Layla's warmth and empathy. He was drawn to her genuine desire to help others. But there was something more that tugged at his heart. He couldn't deny the growing attraction he felt towards her.

"Lately a female patient came to me and she's diagnosed with depression and psychosis....
She started and Fahad's interest peaked up as he intersected his fingers on his desk.
"Her situation was very sad and so similar to mine. And that made to realize that I still suffer from PTSD.

"It has almost been a year but I can't let go of everything entirely, the sight of blood terrifies me because of how I witnessed my husband's death. I still suffer from those terrifying nightmares, thoughts and flashbacks of how everything unfolded and sometimes all those things,my past life feels like a delusion, like I haven't lived it...."

As her last words fell upon his ears Fahad quickly realized what's going on, what Layla might be experiencing and gradually it's becoming a serious problem.if an immediate care not taken, she will be also diagnosed with a severe psychological disorder and by Allah's will he's not letting that happen.
So before she go deep into her dark emotions he caught her off
"I understand everything Layla. There's no need to go deep.okay?."

"As a patient and me as your doctor, I will talk you out of it. Insha Allah."

Fahad quickly assessed everything and he came with a strategy. Layla needs something very complex and heavy to deviate her mind from her dark thoughts. First: let her express everything about her late husband.
Second: Install a familiar at the same time foreign emotion into her heart.

"Layla. Talk me. Pour all your dark emotions out to me,even if I will be blackened at the process."

His joke made her to crack up a bit

"Why are you still holding onto him?

"So, let me tell you about my late husband's love and why it's been so difficult for me to let go."

"Hmm." He nodded and leaned back to his chair.

And Layla started
"Azeem! His love was like a warm embrace that enveloped me, making me feel secure and cherished. He had a way of making me feel like the most important person in his world. From the little gestures of affection to the deep conversations we had, his love was a constant source of comfort and happiness. He loved me, you know? Even with all the chaos around him, he always made me feel special. It's just hard to let go of those memories, you know?."
