I exited his office with a heavy chest.

Probably, the last time I would ever feel this way.

I could either die but end up saving Rocco or get into that accident and make it out alive and trade my heart for his.

Well I would get into that accident either way.

I would be saving his life either way too.

I don't want to die. I still have so much to live for.

But so does Rocco. His life can't be cut short like this. I'll not let that happen. Not now not ever.

I'm not going to tell either one of them about my decision.

They'll hate me. They'll disagree with my choice.

Rocco wouldn't want me to do this but this is my choice and I want him to live.

I want him to live so he can get married, have kids, go on family vacations. He has so much plans for his future and I can't fail him.

"Enzo?" I was startled out of my daze by Julius.

"Are you okay?" He spoke softly.

I didn't reply but stare at him. I didn't say a physical goodbye but my eyes were.

"I'm okay." I finally replied with a smile and breathed out.

I didn't say anything but pull him into my embrace, telling him how proud I am of him for handling this situation.

I wasn't just meaning that I'm proud of him for handling this but I'm proud of him for everything he's done.

"Do you want anything from the cafeteria?" Julius asked.

"No thanks." I shook my head and moved my gaze towards Nova.

She was scolding Roman for something I'm not so sure of.

Her eyes were narrowed at him and her fingers were jabbing against his chest.

A laugh escaped my lips as my mind went to the thought of her being a teenager. If she acts this bossy already how would her teenage years be?

Let's pray to God that everything goes as plan and I can live to see those moments.

"Oh hi Enzo!" Nova's giggles brought my attention to her.

Everything felt as if it was happening in slow motion.

My head was filled with sorrow and sadness.

What would happen if I should die? What would they go through because of my choices?

I would never regret saving my younger brother's life.

"Hi baby." I muttered softly with a smile.

A genuine one.

A one that will accept whatever is to happen.

"I missed you." She groaned and gave Roman one last punch before running to me.

She hugged my legs tightly, looking up to me.

Her angelic smile appearing onto her lips.

"Come here mi amor." I smiled and picked her up, holding her head close to mine.

"I love you." I whispered and kissed her hair.

"I love you more dad." She grinned and kissed my cheek.
