"I don't know what you want from me!" Stan rolls his eyes, crossing his arms.

"Oh yes you do, bro. And you're going to admit it.

What. Do. You. Mean..?" Kenny claps his hands with each syllable. Though, he had the feeling he already knew what was coming.

It's quiet for a long, suffocating moment. Before Stan turn away completely from Kenny, walking back to the other side of the couch.

"Look man, we're in this together"-

"The fuck we are?" Kenny cuts him off with an exaggerated recoil. He was not on Stan's side, to him, they were on completely opposite sides.

Stan sigh frustratedly and rubs his eyebrows down.

"Look.. all I'm saying is, if Cartman finds out"-

"Finds out what?!"

"Do I have to spell it out for you, man!?" Stan scoffs. "I like her! You like her!"

"I love her!" Kenny shouts, pointing his finger to the ground as the words tumble out before he can even think about it.

Silence.

Stan has been stunned into silence.

Kenny stares into Stan's wide, empty eyes. Something was happening, but he wasn't sure what.

Were they going to fight for her? Like dogs protecting their territory? Were they going to ruin years of friendship just because they liked the same girl?

Was it even worth it?

They hand bigger problems. If they didn't kill each other by the end of this, Cartman would.

However, the moment Stan takes a step towards Kenny, the doorbell rings.

...and then it rings again.

It rings six times in a row, one after the other in a desperate and quite frankly annoying way...

Stan leaps across the couch, running to lock the door from the inside before it can open.

There was only one man desperately annoying enough to try and-

"I know you're fucken in there, bitch, let me in before I change my mind".

Cartman.

"I'm serious newbie, I'll go home and eat all this goddam soup myself! Is that what you want?"
