Chapter 45: RING Part Two: Versus

Still with Kaaru and the others, they all sat down doing nothing but finding way to help Yuuto.

KAARU: Man, what kind of manipulators are we?

TAKASHI: Hey if not for me Tetsu would have been attacking us.

TETSU: I'm right here. (While was at Takashi's back)

TAKASHI: Whatever. (Thought) he wouldn't remember all that.

HIRO: Then do what Eito said to you. You can still do that to Yuuto. You need to try.

TAKASHI: (looks at Yuuto, who was facing the ground as he sighed heavily after trying to cut the long vines tied around him) Even though I try I'm sure it's gonna work.

HIRO: (holds Takashi's shoulder while looking at him) Listen to me, read my lips: You... have... to... try. It's better to try than giving up.

TAKASHI: (sigh) Alright. Just have to give it a try. (He said as he walks to meet Yuuto and Takashi looked at him and had a thought) Okay let's see if it's gonna work. (he touches his head and begins to meditate)

EITO: (who was outside on his look out turned back and saw it while was surprise)

TAKASHI: (his body started to glow into white)

KAARU: Er... What is he doing now?

HIRO: Sometimes, the only way to fight darkness is with light. Takashi is using his spirit powers to purify Yuuto's heart, to help him see the good within himself. (Then had a thought) We can't give up on Yuuto. Everyone deserves a second chance.

(As Takashi tried while still touching Yuuto's head, he had a thought of the negative sides of what Yuuto have been doing and the suffering in him which was dangerous and made Takashi to be scared. He quickly removed his hands and was about to faint but Kaaru caught him)

KAARU: Takashi, did it work? (he said as they looked at Yuuto and wait for his response but...)

YUUTO: Let me go! I'm sick and tired of this! (While trying to cut off the vine on him)

HIRO: That should be a no.

TAKASHI: So... weird and strange.

HIRO: Tell me what do you see.

TAKASHI: I don't know. It's complicated and I'm not sure Yuuto will be back again.

KAARU: Don't say that. There's still another option.

HIRO: Kaaru, I think Takashi is right.

KAARU: ... (which made him to look at Hiro in a surprise look)

HIRO: Yuuto has been like this for the past two weeks. We tried everything and you tried everything to save him.

KAARU: No. You are wrong. You are both wrong. Yuuto is still on our side and we can't just abandon him to remain like this. Like I said, there's still another option and that's to defeat the man himself. The ring is the source and I'm gonna destroy it.

TAKASHI: (Tries to get up as Kaaru supported him) Fighting him alone will be too dangerous if not you will be under his manipulation.

KAARU: I guess you are right then.

TETSU: How about you two go and I will keep an eye on Yuuto.

KAARU: I'm not sure and I still don't trust you. Hiro watch Yuuto instead and if anything goes wrong, you have your phone.

HIRO: Got it.

KAARU: Alright, let's go handle him, Takashi. (After saying that, he sees Akumi from a distance while on a building ready to shoot Kaaru after producing a bow and arrow with her spirit powers and she took her shot) Incoming! (He shouted as everyone jumped to dodged that, making the building destroy)
