-Oh god, releasing this chapter hurt a bit on the inside. X( You'll see why. Please don't judge.-

The party was in no state to fight, none the less handle a stone statue. The creature's face was replaced with the porous object that was a Humanity Stone, giving it no facial identity whatsoever. The party was, in other words, thinking of any way to get out of this situation besides fighting.

"Make a break for it!" The Eevee shouted on the top of its lungs. The party was bailing up the stairs, but the stubby legs of the Pokemon couldn't put enough distance between them and the statue to keep it from attacking again. It swung its great weapon downwards, aiming a strike at Eros. While the strike did not outright hit Eros, she side of the blade scraped against his arm, causing a friction-based burn on his upper arm as he moved out of the way. In the time it took for the statue to cock back its sword, the party was already far enough up the stairs to stay out of reach of the construct and out of the dungeon.

Leaving the dungeon was a relief for everyone in the party, considering the statue could have easily killed everyone; but that was behind them now. The party stood on top of a massive bell tower, surrounded by four pillars that supported the pyramid shaped roof. In the center of this tower was a massive bell, dark and worn from the sand. From one part of the lip hung a rope, only a few inches in length and tattered at the end, as if cut in a rush. The design was simple inside the tower's pinnacle, not unlike the mystery dungeon.

The party was on top of the tower now, looking out onto the desert only to find their vision blocked by the storm. Eevee said to Totodile, "Let's ring the bell now."

The Eevee and Totodile had to work together to move the bell, considering its weight, but they managed to ring it, nearly deafening everyone and causing the sandstorm to slowly cease, also making the sky brighter and allowing the base of the tower to be seen over the edge; Soon, so was a small area around the tower, then off a little distance, then what could be a mile. Soon, the plains were visible, then some of the farther reaches of the desert, then the horizon. The sight was definitely beautiful, the clear midnight sky ahead and orange seas of sand covering all but a small area of land, which were the northwards plains that Eros and Sicily came from. Everyone took a few moments to appreciate the view before breaking down into a sad conversation, for everyone knew they were to split up at the end of the journey.

Totodile began this farewell. "You know you guys, the Adventurer's guild could use a few guys like you. We could make a great team."

Sicily spoke, "I came here so I could return home. I wish I could spend every day adventuring with you guys, but I have a family here." Almost as if thinking of him, Sicily looked briefly over at Eros.

Eros spoke next. "I cannot go with you. I wish I could say why, but I simply cannot." Totodile nodded in understanding.

Next spoke Eevee, "I really had fun with you guys. I wish that you could've joined our party. If you ever change your minds, look for a city names Treasure Town. We'll be there. I hope we can meet again some day." The Eevee and Totodile then walked towards each other, Totodile pulling a blue orb or sorts out of his inventory. The orb flashed momentarily and the team was gone.

The only two left were Eros and Sicily. Sicily spoke first, "You have a nasty burn on your arm."

"I'll be fine." Eros wrapped his tattered scarf around his arm. "So, now you return home?"

"I guess." Both looked depressed for some reason that I'm pretty sure you could guess- that is, if you were actually reading this thing. Sicily continued, "What's on your mind?"

"Well, I kinda wanted that statue's greatsword." Both had a half-forced laugh. "But really, I'm going to miss you."

"Don't worry, whatever you do, you'll be a great trainer. Or Druid."
