"Long ago, in a land not too far away, there were many Pokemon in the world who inhabited their lands without the fear of humans or other Pokemon trampling them and ruining all they've worked for. We Chatot are much too young to know any of the Pokemon or events that occurred during this time directly, but through years of research, sight and study, we've pieced together the location of a particular Pokemon, one who has quite the unique story.

"Not too many years ago were we asked to find out about a particular Pokemon. We thought that lad- a Kecleon, we think- was completely insane for asking this- That was, to look for a particular Pokemon. And yet, he didn't just expect us to find this Pokemon! He expected us to find him and without a name, location nor even something to relate him to! All he said was to look for a Marowak and Aegislash, despite describing him as one Pokemon. We hadn't the slightest idea what we were getting in to, but we decided to help the poor fella anyway- after all, he assured us that this would be a story that would last through the ages, and you have no idea how much that thrills Chat-taught.

"Unfortunately, without any leads nor clues, we spent the first month scouring all the lands of the world for clues or stories as to their whereabouts, hoping that in some way, somebody would know what we were talking about; And yet, are hopes were undoubtedly high and were easily shattered when nobody had a clue about who this mysterious Pokemon was. Even we were skeptical about this story, eventually leaving me to be the sole Chatot questing for the fella. It was such a shame that the Kecleon passed away before I learnt anything about him, but I promised him on his deathbed that I would find him. It was a brutal year of mockery and disappointment before I found my first clue.

"The first clue was somewhere far from here- I didn't even bother remembering, since I've had so many false leads- where this Lucario spoke of an amazing warrior whose strength was unmatched by any Pokemon he had ever seen before. I thought it wasn't worth looking in to, honestly, but when I got there the Lucario was definitely describing the kind of Pokemon that would have his own legends. Of course, I was skeptical when he said that it was a mysterious wanderer without a clear aura, but when he detailed every single moment of fighting this creature, one which seemed so similar to something he'd seen before... I don't like to admit it, but I hadn't a doubt that this was the one I was looking for.

"From there, the stories seemed to grow, and the hopelessness I had before was practically gone. I soon heard story after story about this creature, some of them depicting him as a hero, others a villain, and some as even a king. His prowess was said to transcend even that of Suicune and a trainer named Red, as he was known to single-handedly defeat them both. It seemed as if this creature had gone without notice for quite a while, likely since he was considered only a myth... Even to this day, I'd like to say the meaning was something along the lines of hard work and effort. The story was said to show that no matter how powerful you are at birth, you can always improve and increase your potential beyond that of others; Of course, I was never satisfied with this answer...

"I suppose I should start speaking about his life, though. After all, his life takes on a very different meaning when you think about it. From what I understand, there was once a young Cubone and Honedge who were born just as any other Pokemon. I doubt they had any exceptional powers when they were young, but they did grow up in a rather harsh environment, one with an unfit ruler. I believe it to be Suicune, who didn't realize his leadership was harming the underground world."

Eros was a bit confused. "Wait, why was Suicune underground? What underground world?"

The Chatot thought for a moment before continuing, "All of the legends that you hear of today are born with exceptional power, as well as some... Well... Please forgive me for offending these majestic creatures, but they are possibly born with an innate sense of rulership and dictatorship, believing themselves leaders of the other Pokemon. It may sound unethical, but it truly has helped all life so far with this system. They simply know how to rule over the lesser Pokemon.
