you're given a revealing outfit - TWICE tenth member & maknae (requested)

Jihyo couldn't help but notice how worried and on edge you were feeling.

The ten of you are sitting on stage with an interviewer just across from you as they ask questions submitted over social media from fans and take questions from the fans in the crowd.

It's not often that you do interviews like this but you are today and the room was packed with excited ONCEs, which meant that there were a lot of eyes on you and a lot of cameras too.

You usually enjoy things like this but all you can do today is worry as your mind wanders nonstop because you feel very insecure in the outfit you've got on.

The outfit you were given by the stylists today is pretty revealing; a crop top that barely covers your ribs, a very short pair of shorts, and a pair of heels.

It's not what you'd choose to wear but you felt like you didn't have much of a say in the matter so you're just doing your very best to keep everything covered.

Jihyo watched you try to pull the skirt down a little but even when you succeeded, it only went down an inch at the most, leaving too much of your skin on display.

You tried to put your best foot forward and fake a smile to hide how truly uncomfortable you were but it was hard when all you could think about was what would happen if you moved the wrong way or what people would have to say online.

A lot of people are so unkind these days and they're so quick to judge you and the girls for every little thing.

Though you didn't choose this outfit, you know most people won't think that and they'll just assume that you wanted to wear it and show off, which would bring a lot of hate and criticism your way.

"Tell us what we can expect at the concert tonight." The interviewer said and Nayeon decided to be the one to answer the question.

As she did so, Jihyo tapped your arm and leaned over to whisper in your ear.

"Are you uncomfortable?"

You hesitated but nodded and you swear, for a second, her jaw clenched in anger.

The anger wasn't directed towards you but rather at the stylists who gave you this outfit that left it impossible for you to enjoy this interview and these moments with ONCEs.

"I can't pull the top or skirt down anymore." You whispered to her. "I hate this outfit. I just want to change into something else. People are going to have a lot to say when we take pictures and they see my outfit. Or some people might be inappropriate, which is why I'm afraid to move much."

You should never have to feel this way or worry this much and the fact that you were was infuriating for Jihyo.

"Jihyo,"

She looked at the interviewer as her name was said.

"What song are you most excited to perform tonight?"

"There's so many." She said before pausing to think about it.

But all she could think about was you and the discomfort you felt.

"You know, I'll be happy to answer that in just one second. But before I do,"

She looked around before her eyes landed on the manager and she waved her finger to bring them over.

"Y/N needs a blanket. This outfit is too revealing and she can't focus or relax. It's either a blanket or a different outfit now." She said, only loud enough for the manager to hear.

They ran off the stage to one of the staff members, who had brought along blankets for all of you but kept them backstage, just in case any of you got cold while waiting around and needed to warm up.

The staff manager ran back with a blanket and handed it to the manager, who then rushed back to give the blanket to you.

"I've got it," Jihyo said before taking the blanket. "Thank you."

As she covered you with the blanket, the fans melted and let out little 'awws' while she glared at the stylist, who was watching from backstage.

When Jihyo looked at you again, she saw the relief in your eyes.

You went to thank her but no words needed to be said for her to know how thankful you truly were.

"No need to thank me."

"The leader always looks out for her members, right?" The interviewer grinned as the girls nodded proudly.

"There's nothing I wouldn't do for these girls," Jihyo said before wrapping her arm around you.

You laid your cheek on her shoulder and clung to her tightly.

"Especially our little maknae here. It's not just a leader thing,  we all look out for each other but everyone always looks out for Y/N the most. She might not be our little maknae like she once was but she's still our everything and always will be."

"That's so sweet!"

You looked into Jihyo's eyes and mouthed a thank you to her.

"Anytime." She whispered before booping your nose and smiling as you giggled happily. "You look like you feel much more comfortable now. That's all that matters to me."
