Danny's POVToday we're gonna play a small concert at a high school. I personally love these gigs. They are more intimate, and those who know me, know that I like to get into the crowd and see each and everyone in the audience. Also, it looks like most people here are not fans, so we get to play and show them our music and hopefully get some new members in the Script family, I love this. Beside me, I see Glen and Mark, both sitting on a couch on their phones, probably on Twitter.
"Guys, this girl just posted a picture showing that she's here. She's been tweeting us, she looks like a real fan. Shall we invite her to meet us after?" Asked Glen while showing us the picture. I did recognize her. She's been tweeting us a lot, but we've never met her, and if I do remember correctly she tweeted that she had never had the opportunity cause of work and also she could not afford tickets. Her parents also kept her away apparently, which was kinda sad. At least we got to play here today so she could finally see us live. While looking at the picture I noticed that she was pretty. Not stunningly beautiful, but still. There was something about her, not quite sure what though. Maybe it was her smiling eyes? Maybe her smile? I had no idea, I felt drawn to her.
"Yeah great idea! Let's do it! Will ye ask her Glenny?" He nodded at me and looked down at his phone again to ask her. Hopefully she would accept it and see us after. I really wanted to talk to her. Not only because she was pretty and because she was a fan, but because there was something else about her. I had a feeling that she, like many others had a story to tell and that intrigued me.
"Just sent her the DM, I think she'll answer quickly." Glen locked his phone and went to warm up, so did Mark. There were only 10 minutes left until the small gig starts, I better go warm up myself if I was going to be able to hit those high notes.
Lauren's POV
'@thescript sent you a message on twitter' my phone buzzed. I took a glance at it while waiting. I saw that the notification was from Twitter but I didn't look too much at it before I unlocked my phone and went online. I had a new message and some other notifications, probably from the tweets I'd sent earlier. I quickly checked them and saw that I was right. Some people retweeted and some favorited the tweets. Some had also replied saying have fun and all that. I just favorited the tweets and replied back to some which were from friends I had on Twitter. I went out of the notifications and checked my messages..... Oh my God. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Did the lads just send me a message? I opened the message and read it eagerly while waiting for the lads to come on stage.
'Hey, we saw you were here for the gig at the school and we wanna know if ye would like to meet us after? 😉 D/M/G'. I replied to it straight away. Of course I would meet them after the gig! I've imagined this happening as I was walking to school every day since I found out they were gonna come here, but never have I ever thought they would actually write to me, or invite me to meet them!
"Oh My God!! Sophie! Cassidy! Joanna! Check this!!" I practically screamed at them while showing them the message the lads wrote me.
"Are you fuckin serious?! You are so lucky! ". Sophie knew how much I loved the lads, she knew how much this meant to me. I believe that she really didn't care that they had sent me a message or wanted to meet me, but she smiled and was happy for me which was more than enough. I really didn't care what she thought, I was going to meet my idols.
"Oh my God I don't know what to do, seriously! I'm gonna meet my idols!!!!" Yeah I had a small fangirl moment in the auditorium. Safe to say I got some weird looks after this, but I didn't give a shit to be honest. I'm meeting my heroes and that's all that matters.
