Danny's POV

Today was the day we were leaving for the tour again. This time we started off for real. We had done all the planning based on previous shows this year and we were ready to go again. After spending nearly 2 weeks at home in Dublin I started to miss touring again. It was great being on the road with the lads, we all had a really good time there. Still nothing felt like being home, especially during hard times. As most people know I lost my father, Shay O'Donoghue on Valentine's Day some years ago. It was hard on everyone and we all miss him, each day. Every year on Valentine's Day my family gathers and spends as much time together as we need. We eat lunch, go visit him and talk before we go home again and talk some more sharing our stories. This year it was a bit different though. Ma had some postcards he always used to bring home after touring. When we were younger we all noticed them but we never saw much of them as ma kept them. After he died we hadn't seen them at all, but this year we all gathered and she brought them up. She took them out of a box she kept and showed them all to us. It was nice seeing them and reading them. He told us what he had done and what he had seen in those places he had visited. It brought back all the memories of the times he came home and sat down at the piano and played his songs before he told us about the touring. It was emotional looking at them but it was nice too. We got a last memory of him that we got to treasure.

'Ready now Dan?' Mark asked as we were sitting in the departure area at the airport waiting for a plane that would take us to our next destination. To be honest I wasn't really sure of where we were going today, but we had a show there tomorrow night. By now it was mid-day here in Dublin. We would land in the afternoon and then we would just go to the hotel and get some food and maybe some drinks before getting some sleep. Even though we had been off touring it didn't mean we slept much. Most nights we would meet up in the studio or at each other's places and maybe have a few drinks or work for a bit so it ended up with late nights anyways.

'Yeah I am. Gonna be great to finally start off this world tour.'

'It sure will. I can't wait to show the fans all over the world what we've come up with for this tour.' Glen shot in. Both Mark and I nodded and agreed.

'I'm excited for that too. And meeting the fans.' I said. We all agreed to that and continued our talk about the tour. Turns out we were going to Manchester to play a show tomorrow before taking it all over UK. We had our tour bus over in the UK so we would use that to get around. Sleeping each day and night on the bus wasn't really ideal at all, but we were used to it and it was in great condition anyways. Well if we arrived to our next destination the night before the gig we would of course check into a hotel, but mostly the tour bus would be our home for the next weeks as we were touring in the UK.

Over the speakers we were told that our flight had been delayed with about two hours. We sighed deeply and agreed to go find a place to sit down and grab some food. We could just sit there and wait until our plane arrived anyways, we really didn't have a choice either. We found a place pretty fast and sat down. We bought some food and tea while waiting. After all the food and tea were consumed we all pulled out our phones for a while. We still had about an hour more before we could take off so I decided that I'd for once go on twitter for a while. As usual there were a lot of incoming tweets. As soon as I answered one, many more came in. It was impossible to keep up with all the tweets but I just took some random ones and answered.

'@thescript_danny How are you Dannnnyyy? :D' I quickly typed in a reply to the girl and followed her as well.

'@love_TSforever Im brilliant thanks'

'@thescript_danny is this a tweet spree or are u gonna leave?' I chuckled to myself at the tweet. Well I did have a bad habit of maybe answering one or two tweets before leaving. Sometimes I would answer a lot as well, but at totally random times. In the middle of the night seemed to be popular so far.
