C h a p t e r 25

Lauren's POV

It was now Friday, the day before Danny came to visit again. I applied to the unis on Tuesday and I had not told Danny about applying to Dublin and London yet. I had talked to him every day, but it just hasn't been a subject, but I knew I needed to tell him. So I picked up my phone and dialed his number. I knew he was probably in the studio right now, but I had just gotten home from school and felt like calling for once. After only 4 rings he answered the phone.

'Whats up Laurs?'

'Ah just wanted to talk, you busy?'

'Nah we're just taking a 30 min break from recording so I got time.'

'Good, it's been a while since we've talked like this. Texts have been the only thing we've had time to the both of us.'

'Yeah it is, it's been a long time. I can't wait to see you again.'

'Me neither, it's gonna be great! And you can meet my friends too, they're all dying to meet you.' He chuckled slightly before he spoke.

'Looking forward to it. Can't believe yer soon finished school as well, time goes really fast! It's been almost 5 months since we met now.'

'Has it? Oh wow, it has gone really fast then! I can't wait to be finished with high school to be honest. Just start somewhere new and have a brand new start.'

'I like yer thinking. Have you applied for uni yet?'

'Yeah I have actually.'

That's good Laurs! Where and what?'

'I applied to nursing, in both Dublin and London actually. I've always said I wanted to go to either of those places, even before I met you just so you know.'

'Wow that's good Laurs! And I remember you told us the first time we met you at yer school. You told us nursing in Dublin. I think it sounds like a great choice!' He sounded really happy for me, and I was glad. I really wanted this whole uni thing to work out fine, and with him being happy for me, it just couldn't have gone better.

'I'm glad you like that idea too. I feel really happy about it. I think Dublin will be my first choice though, if I get in both places I'm most likely going to choose Dublin.'

'That sounds really good. And I live there too so we'll be close to each other then. When we're touring and have some time off, that's where I spend most of my time.'

'I know, that's what makes this decision so much easier, and better.'

'I'm glad you think that. We'll work out just fine.'

'I know we will.'

'So do you know what to do if you get in in Dublin?'

'Uhm not sure really. I have to find out if I get in first and then I'll have to look for a place to live and sort the rest.'

'Yeah I guess knowing if yer gonna go there first is an advantage. If you get in, which I'm sure you'll do, I can help you sort it out. I got contacts here and I'll be happy to help you with whatever you need.'

'Thanks Danny, it really means a lot. I wanna do most on my own though as I'm gonna be living on my own as well.' I could hear him thinking about that one. Well we were not moving together so soon, that's for sure. I wanted my own place at first and just see how it all turns out. We got all the time in the world so I don't see the point in rushing anything. Danny probably didn't agree to just that though. Well he didn't want to rush things either, but in his mind he was probably thinking of letting me stay with him in Dublin as it would be a benefit to the both of us. At least that's what I can imagine him saying.
