Lauren's POV

'How should I dress?' I asked him. Danny had told me he was taking me out for our 5 month anniversary tonight. As you can probably guess this wasn't really my thing, but as long as I was with Danny nothing could go bad right?

'Don't worry about that Laurs. I'm picking up an outfit for you on my way back from the studio in the afternoon.' He said taking his keys and wallet from the kitchen.

'Danny, you're not doing that. I can do it myself, you have done enough for me.'

'Sush...It's already handled. Just relax or clean or whatever, I'll be back at about 7 and then we're going out.' He said with a cheeky grin.

'Okay fine. You know I love you don't you?' I said walking over to him as he was stood in the hallway ready to go. He had been in the studio since this morning and was just home to get some stuff they needed and then he'll be gone before coming back later.

'Never doubted it. I love you too.' He took my hands and pulled me in placing his lips on mine. I pulled away and placed a kiss on his cheek.

'I'll see you tonight then.'

'Can't wait.' He said opening the door and leaving the apartment. So far he had done a great job hiding his plans for us tonight. Since after my birthday I had just thought that we could have like a night in as we both enjoyed. I felt like staying in and watching TV eating take away and snacks was more us as we both enjoyed staying away from people sometimes, but apparently he had planned something. Well it was Danny so it really didn't surprise me at all to be honest. I also felt bad about it. He was always the one planning date nights as surprises. He brought flowers sometimes along with chocolate and a movie some nights too, but not too often as we would probably not see nights like that as more special anymore.

I really felt like I had nothing to offer him. There were occasions where I had bought some dinner we could cook and also rented a movie and bought snacks. I have had it all planned for a romantic night in my apartment after he was either done in the studio or back from London, but each time he had surprised me and booked tables out for dinner.

Since it was still 4 more hours until Danny came back from the studio I had some time to kill before I had to take a shower and do my hair and makeup so I was ready until he got home. That gave me about 3 hours to do something, anything really.

'Text to Dan X: do you have a key here somewhere I'm going out and I don't have a key 😅' I texted him. I knew I had to do something so why not go out and have a look...

'New text from Dan X: key is in a drawer in the hall x Love ye'

'Text to Dan X: thanks, you're the best ;) love you too!!!' I went into the hall and opened several drawers in the sideboard before finding the drawer with the key in. I took the key and placed it on the kitchen bench.

The weather outside today was pretty good. The sun was out and it was about 20 degrees at this time, perfect for going out. I went to the bathroom and brushed through my hair quickly and put on some make up. Then I walked out to the hallway and put on my shoes before going back into the kitchen where I grabbed my wallet, phone and the key to the apartment. I went out and locked the door behind me before stepping out in the streets. At this point I had lived in Dublin for 1 month and I had luckily gotten to know the city enough to find out where I should go to find all the most important/valuable places in Dublin.

As I finally reached Grafton Street I was hit by a wave of tourists. They were just like I was 5 months ago, all trying to take pictures and take it all in. Sometimes I still couldn't believe I lived here, my dream place.
