Danny's POV

Rina and her kids had just arrived in Birmingham today. We were playing here tomorrow night and then heading to Belfast tomorrow after the concert for a gig before flying back to England. Whenever she had the chance to, Rina took a plane to wherever we were with the kids to see Mark. He was away from them for a long time and just one day with them helped. She had done that ever since our career took off to keep their relationship going. I really admired their effort, traveling with three kids all alone couldn't be easy, but she still did it, and even though she had her job as well. If only Lauren and I made half the effort things would be a lot better probably. Well, the 2 weeks I had been gone now hadn't been that bad, not at all. We both remembered the agreement we made before I left and we promised to keep in touch as much as possible not to lose each other again. So far it had worked out. We talked every day and there were no issues so far, I really think that this time we'll make it if we just continue like this.

'Daddy!' Marks son ran over to him and jumped as Mark lifted him up.

'Yer doing great I see! Ye've gotten so big already and I've only been gone for a few weeks.' Mark beamed.

'Yes! I've missed you daddy.' He said.

'Missed ye too. Did ye take good care of your mother?' His son nodded at him as Rina walked over with the youngest son and their little girl as well. Mark pulled her in for a kiss and pulled his girls close.

'It's so good seeing all of ye.' Mark said kissing Rina's cheek. She smiled at him and kissed him back. They let go of the kids and they started running around and played for a while as Mark and Rina stood talking. I was staying in the back not interrupting with Glen.

'So how do ye feel when his family comes over? I bet you miss Luke.' I said to Glen. He turned his head and looked at me.

'Yeah I do. At least I fly over to Dublin as soon as we get days off and see him, sometimes he comes over to where we are in the weekends. I'm managing, but it's hard.' Glen said sighing.

'Yeah I get that. The one negative thing about our careers is that we're away from our friends and family for so long, at least when we tour.'

'Yeah. I'm not too happy about the traveling part, but I love the shows. That and the days and nights off is definitely the best parts of the tour. Coming home feels pretty good too.'

'Agreed.' I said as Rina came over to me and Glen. Mark had gone over to the kids and was chasing after them and playing with them.

'Good to see you two again too.' Rina said pulling both me and Glen into a hug.

'Good seeing you as well.' We both said as we pulled away. It's been a while since we've both seen her. The last couple of days we had off when we were in Dublin we barely saw Mark. I guess he was busy with his family. Glen had his son in Dublin, but he was in school during the day so he wasn't at home all the time, just the same as Lauren who also had school.

As Glen and Rina stood talking I looked over to Mark and his kids. They all seemed very happy. They laughed and joked around. The more I watched the more I felt kinda off. I had always said I wanted kids, but it's just not worked out just yet. And with Lauren not being ready for that I've pushed it away to be able to be with her, but seeing Mark with his kids like that made me rethink it all. I have been in a few long term relationships before, but somehow it's just not been the right time, and I know now that it was probably for the best, but now I definitely think I've found the one. I've waited and I gave up the thought of having my own family for quite some time now, but seeing Mark with his kids now definitely made me feel the urge to start my own family.
