Lauren's POV'Bye Laurs! Have fun in Dublin this weekend!' Cassidy, Joanna and Sophie waved at me as me and Oscar walked out of school. Yes Oscar and I were still together. I had been doing a lot of thinking and I decided to stay with him and see where this is goes. I felt like breaking his heart over something that could possibly happen later wasn't worth the risk. We've now been together for a month and it's been really good so far. We talk every day and spend a lot of time together alone and with our friends, basically having a great time. I still talk with Dan a lot too, almost every day. Well it depends on how busy we both are, but these 3 weeks have been good between us, it's like we're back where we were in the beginning. Right now I was really looking forward to seeing him and the lads in Dublin tonight.
'So I guess this is goodbye then?' Oscar took both his hands in mine and we locked eyes.
'Only for a weekend though, you're not getting rid of me that fast!!' We both laughed at that one. I knew that after this weekend we might not be what we are right now, but as long as I do what I feel is right for me I don't care.
'Bye Laur, I'll see you again on Monday then. And you have to promise to take lots of pictures of Dublin, I want to see it all!' He beamed while looking at me.
'Of course I'll do that. I'll see you, and I'm gonna miss your hugs while I'm gone.' Oscar was really one of the best huggers I knew, he made me feel so wanted and so safe.
'Have a good trip, I'll miss you too.' I pulled him closer and gave him a slow kiss on the lips as a goodbye before pulling away and walking towards my house. As I was walking up the outdoor stairs I took one last glance back at Oscar who was standing looking at me from outside the gate. He smiled, the purest smile and I did the same in return. I was really gonna miss him, but in the back of my mind I knew that this might be the last time I got to see that. All depends on what happens next. I went inside and up to my room. I pulled my suitcase out of my closet and packed it with clothes. I was now ready for Dublin.
*At Dublin airport Friday night*
My plane landed safely in Dublin after short time in the air, at least it felt like it. I turned my phone off flight mode and sent a quick text to Oscar to let him know I had safely landed. Now all I had to do was go pick up my luggage and find the lads. They were picking me up at the airport and dropping me off at the hotel before we were gonna go out and have a late dinner and see Dubbin at night time.
I got my luggage quickly and walked out of arrivals and tried to look for them. Of course they would try to hide in public, but it wasn't very helpful for me. I pulled out my phone and turned on my cellular net to see if they had sent a text to our group chat on WhatsApp. Of course they hadn't. I knew them. They were probably gonna stand in sight watching me struggle to look for them.
'Text to fantastic 4: Seriously guys, I know you're here, please tell me where you are!!'
'New text from Mark: Just look harder, we are here already.'
'Text to fantastic 4: Mark, that's not helping, I still can't see you.'
'Next text from Danny: I see u 👀'
'Text to fantastic 4: I know you can. Just please come save me.'
'New text from Danny: Why? So you don't just stand there looking silly anymore ha ha ha.'
'Text to fantastic 4: Not funny Daniel...'
'New text from Glen: Ohh she called u Daniel! We better go get her then, preferably before she strangles u!'
