Lauren's POV

Today is the day which the lads did their small gig at the pub in Tonbridge. I am really excited about that, even more now that I have gotten to know them a bit. The past month after they came to my school I have not only been in contact with Danny, but some DMs to both Mark and Glen as well. I really love these guys for taking the time to write to me. We have had some really good chats. I've found out that Mark is the funny one, always comes up with a comment or a joke. Glen is without a doubt the wise one. He always have something clever to say, and every once in a while he can crack a joke as well. And Danny... Well, he is Danny. He is just pure honest and totally unserious at times, then it all changes and he becomes like Glen, dropping a few quotes here and there. I think he's got the best from both Glen and Mark, plus the good looks as well.

It's 7pm and I'm on my way to the pub. It's only half an hour drive there. As I get closer and closer I get more and more excited. I wonder who else was invited by them. I haven't seen anyone post anything that said they had been invited, so hopefully I am not the only one going. Or maybe I should hope, a private gig with them wouldn't be that bad.

'Laurrrr!! Yer finally here!' That was the first thing I heard stepping inside the pub. It was Danny. I think it was safe to say he has had a pint or two already, or he's just really excited for this.

'Yeah of course I'm here, wouldn't miss it!' I said while he pulled me in for a hug that lasted awkwardly long. I stood there in his grip unable to move. It wasn't that bad though, he smelled really nice. It wasn't a strong smell of perfume like many would think. It was a mixture of a sweet smell and skin lotion. With a hint of man sweat and some Guinness. Aside from the Guinness it was a pretty good smell, even with that little bit of sweat. Okay now stop it Lauren, you can't think like that.... Just no. I pulled away slowly and smiled at him.

'It's nice to see you in the flesh again, you'll do great tonight.'

'Aw thanks Laur, appreciate it. And you better sing along, we'll watch you!'

'I'm not doubting that.' I thought while rolling my eyes at him.

'Come here to us now, Dan's had enough! It's great seeing ye again.' Mark opened his arms for a hug.

'It's my turn now Mark, don't be like Dan, keeping her all to himself!' Mark started laughing at Glen's comment. Danny just glared at them while I ignored it. I was then pulled in for one of those famous Glen hugs.

'Stop it lads, it's not like that and ye know it.' Danny then said as Both Glen and Mark gave him some weird look. Was Danny blushing a bit? Yup I definitely think I saw him blushing at Mark's comment and at the look they gave him after. And to be honest, so did I, I just tried to hide it.

'Okay now, ye better go find a place so yer standing in the front. We have to go prepare for a bit, we'll see you after the show right?' Dan asked me while making those puppy eyes. Mark and Glen stood by observing, you could read their minds from a far distance.

'Absolutely, would love too. Now go prepare so this won't suck okay?' I received some glares from the lads for that one before they switched and started laughing.

'We'll see you laters Lauren, have a great time. Don't stare at Dan that much though, he might blush and forget the lyrics if ye do!' Mark said, and 3-2-1, my cheeks went red and my face heated up. Thanks for that one Mark, I slapped him carefully in the arm as a reward.

'I'll see you later lads, now please leave. I don't want you here anymore.' I said to them sarcastically while watching them walk towards the backstage door. Before entering the door and vanishing Mark pulled out his finger in my direction. I just laughed at him and went to find myself a good spot to stand before people started coming in and filling the room.
