C h a p t e r 26

Lauren's POV

'DANNYYY!' I ran downstairs and jumped in his arms. I'd been upstairs cleaning (not voluntarily) and someone had knocked on the door. Since it was just 12pm I would never imagined it being Danny, so I let my mom open, and yeah it turns out he came over early as a surprise.

'Missed you Laurs.' He said while he spun us around. Even though it had only been a week I missed him like crazy. It felt so good being in his arms like this again, the safest place on earth.

'Missed you too! Good to have you here again.' I sad cuddling into his neck.

'So what are we gonna do now? Have you been to the store yet?' He said putting me down and leaning back to look at me.

'Yeah I did just before you came. Had you been here half an hour earlier I wouldn't have been home yet.'

'Ahh glad I had to fix me hair before I left then.'

'You did a good job, I like it.' I said smiling at him while reaching one hand up to brush through his hair. And yes, it's as fluffy and silky as it looks.

'Thanks love, I like yours too. Everything looks good on you.'

'You are too sweet.' I replied blusing earning a smirk from him.

'I can live with that. So what are we gonna do now then?'

'Well before we do anything else I want a kiss first.' He smirked and leaned down before he placed his lips on mine. We stood in the moment for a few minutes before we pulled away.

'I've missed this.' Ge stated before letting me go.

'Me too Dan. At least we have a few hours left until we have to start preparing everything. My mom is just leaving the house so we are by ourselves.' I smirked at him.

'Well then, I guess we could think of something to do.'

'Like watch a movie or clean the house.' My mom said coming out of the kitchen. Shit. I had totally forgotten that she was still here.

'I think we'll just watch a movie, we'll be okay.' I said embarrassed looking down at the floor hearing Danny chuckle next to me.

'That's good. I'll leave you guys alone now. Bye!' Mom said heading out the door. We were now left alone until tomorrow.

'So shall we watch a movie?'

'Sounds good, if you choose.' He pulled me close to him and kissed my temple. I took his hand and we walked to the TV area and picked out a movie. Since it was only me and my mom living here we ended up watching a romantic comedy, and since we rarely bought DVDs anymore we chose one of the older ones in the shelf, how to lose a guy in 10 days. I had seen that movie so many times and knew what was coming, still I could not hold my laugh at some points. I didn't know why though, as the movie is not that funny. Halfway into the movie I was cuddling into Danny's side with his arms wrapped around me. He looked like he was about to fall asleep at some points, but I usually found a way to keep him awake which worked towards the last parts of the movie. I kinda wanted to let him fall asleep as I knew what was coming, a shower scene. That is not the kind of scene I was comfortable with watching with him.

'You want something to drink?' I stood up from the couch and walked into the kitchen.

'Yeah if you don't mind?' Danny answered. Of course I didn't mind, as long as I didn't have to watch that shower scene.
