Chapter 47: Just A Dream

Hey there! I'm so sorry that you had to wait so long for an update! I had final exams the last two weeks along with basketball practices and games so I had no time to write. Thank you all for being so patient and I hope you like this chapter!!!

(Lily's P.O.V)

"Lily. Lily wake up."

"​I'm up, I'm up. What do you want, Sasuke?"

I mumble and open my eyes to see Sasuke right in front of my face.

"Were you planning on sleeping all day? It's almost three in the afternoon."

"Sorry, it's just that I was having such an interesting dream."

I sit up on the bed then Sasuke sits next to me and wraps his arms around my waist.

"What was the dream about?"

"It was about us, but we were in a world where everyone was a ninja and we were both fighting in a great war."

"Uh ninjas? I think you need to back off the sweets before bedtime. Come on, I have food waiting for you downstairs."

Sasuke plants a kiss on my temple before standing up and we both go downstairs to the dinning room.

"It seemed so real though..."

"Lily, it was just a dream. So just forget about it and eat okay."

"All right."

"So what are we doing today, Sasuke?"

"How about we-"

Sasuke was about to answer when the doorbell goes off.

"I'll get it."

I make my way to the door and open it. Standing on the other side are Sasuke's siblings, Itachi and Yuko.

"Itachi, Yuko, it's so good to see you guys!"

I greet then stand to the side so they can walk in. After they both walk in, Yuko pulls me into a hug.

"Ahhh I've missed you so much!"

"Yuko, it's only been a few days since you last saw her...."

"Don't be such a downer, Itachi, this is our future sister-in-law we're talking about. You have no idea how much I've wanted a little sister, and now I'm finally getting one!"

"Could I have my fiancée back before you hug her to death, sister?"

Sasuke asks as he walks into the room. Yuko pouts, but lets me go.

"So what brings you guys here?"

Sasuke asks.

"Oh yeah Yuko almost made me forget. We were wondering if our favorite flower could do us a huge favor and sing at the charity event that's being held tonight."

"Why do you want me to sing? I thought you had everything planed already."

"Well as it turns out we have an extra slot and who'd be better to fill it than one of the biggest singers out there Miss Lily Amaya! Plus we personally know you so that makes it ten times easier."

Yuko says with a large grin and Itachi nods.

"I guess I could sing a few songs, but you guys owe me."

"Deal, now let's go!"

Yuko grabs my right arm and Itachi takes my left and I'm dragged into their car.

"Why did I agree to do this again?"

I ask myself as wait on standby for my turn on the stage. So it turns out that Itachi and Yuko had planed for me to sing since the very beginning. They have been advertising my being there for months and I never knew. anything about it.

"Miss Amaya, it's your turn."

"Thank you."

I walk onto the stage and the crowd begins to cheer. After making to center stage, I take a deep breath before nodding to my band and the music starts.

"Thank you everyone!"

After I finish singing I walk off the stage and over to Sasuke who is sitting on a couch backstage. I sit next to him and lean my head on his shoulder.

"Good job today, Lily."

"Thanks!"

"Although, I do have one complaint..."

"And what might that be?"

"Getting to hear you sing is nice, but it cut into the time that I wanted to take you on a date with."

I raise my head and look at him in surprise.

"Wait what? When were you gonna tell me this?"

"I was going to, but my lovely siblings butted in. But now I have you all to myself, so now we'll have all the time we want to ourselves."

Sasuke smirks before standing up and picking me up bridle style.

"Sasuke, put me down!"

"Sorry, no can do."

After refusing, Sasuke carries me out the door. I give up on getting me to put me down and snuggle into his warm chest.

'I can't complain since it makes me feel like his princess when Sasuke carries me like this.'
