Chapter 50

"What?" He asks in disbelief.

"I'm so sorry Oscar. It was a mistake" I plead.

"Did you kiss him?" He wonders.

"Yes, and I was being stupid. I don't know what I was thinking"

"Then why'd you do it" Oscar asks clenching his jaw.

"I don't know" I say with my eyes watering.

"Do you love him?" Oscar says looking at his fingers.

"No" I lie not sure on how I feel.

"Are you sure?" He asks still avoiding to look at me.

I stay quiet.

"I think we should take a b-"

"No. Oscar please, I told you it was a mistake. Please trust me. It didn't mean anything to me, it was all an accident" I say with tears welling up.

"Maria. It's just a break, we're not breaking up. I just need some time" Oscar says kissing me.

I stay silent.

I deserved all of this, I kissed someone that I don't even think I have feelings for, and I lost the person I knew for sure that I loved.

"Are we planning on having anymore fun tonight?" Jack grins walking back to the table with Lucia.

"Depends on Rosa's actions" Lucia spat.

"What happen over here? Everyone looks pretty upset?" Jack asks sitting down.

"We were just having an adult discussion" Marc lies.

"Um, okay. I'm starving where's the menu" Jack groans.

The night went on with everyone talking happily except for me. I simply couldn't wrap my head around the fact, that one stupid mistake would cause all of this.

When we got back to the house, Oscar packed all of his stuff and left back to his own home.

I've really screwed everything up.

I went to sleep crying and decided not to go to practice the next morning.

I was in bed watching movies with my hair looking like a bird's nest and my clothes looking like I picked them up out of a trash can. But I honestly don't care.

Knock. Knock.

"Go away!" I yell not caring who it is.

Marc walks in anyways.

"What do you want?" I groan.

"To watch a movie with you" he smiles laying down beside me.

"Can't you watch it downstairs? It's quite obvious that I want to be alone" I say glaring at him.

"Then is it not quite obvious I want to annoy someone?" He laughs.

"Go annoy Lucia" I groan.

"She's at work"

"Then go annoy Lucia's boyfriend"

"Who? Jack? They aren't dating. Besides he's at school"

"Ugh!"

"You're stuck with me" he grins.
