"Come on," I groaned out in annoyance.

I heard a low grumble and I rolled my eyes.

"Let's go. You can't hide in there forever."

"I can try. I look ridiculous," he grumbled.

I frowned, "Chandler Carlton Riggs, if you don't get your ass out of that bathroom right now, so help me, I will lift up that skirt up in front of everyone during the assembly."

I heard the lock click and I smiled in satisfaction.

Chandler walked out of the bathroom in my blue floral patchwork lace condole belt dress. It brought out the wonderful blue in his eyes and I couldn't help but stare.

"Aww, Chan," I cooed, "You look beautiful."

He smiled at me, "And you handsome."

I laughed.

It was spirit week at our school and today was gender swap day. Chandler and I decided that we would pick out clothes for the other out of our own closet and I would say that it made it all the better.

I mean, I would always wear Chandler's hoodies and flannels, but when do you ever get the chance to see the boyfriend wear the girlfriend's clothes. Socially, it's not acceptable and sometimes, I have a problem with that because "honestly, clothes have no gender to me; if girls can wear pants, how come men cant wear dresses?" (sorry about the quote... I was reading a story called Tattoos by gay-ships-69  on my other account mikihillson and I fell in love with that quote and it fit with the topic today)

Chandler walked over to the mirror and smiled at himself.

"What?" I questioned.

He turned back at me,"I would be a hot girl."

I laughed and smiled at him. It wasn't a lie.

I fixed the collar on my flannel and moved over to the mirror.

"We have to do your hair and makeup," I told my boyfriend.

He frowned, "Do we have to?"

I nodded and pulled out my large collection of eyeshadows, "Yes. Yes we do."

Through the time that I had been putting on his makeup, he kept grumbling and flinching, but I  could say that I did a pretty good job.

Without hesitation, I started to straighten his hair.

When I was done, I could say that if I was into girls, I would totally dig him. (Dig? I am so sorry. I am such a geek.)

"We're going to be late," Chandler warned as he pulled on the white flats I had bought especially for him considering his feet were larger than mine and I didn't want him stretching my shoes.

I pulled my hair into a bun and let some of it fall back down then slipping on a grey beanie. Lastly, I put on a pair of Chandler's sneakers.

As we walked to school, Chandler took my hand into his own and I smiled.

I don't know why, but it seemed weird that I was looking at the "girl" in the relationship, but it was still the same Chandler.

"What are you thinking about?" my boyfriend asked me.

I shook my head, "About how weird this day is going to be."

As we neared the school, I caught sight of my two best friends, Kris and Alicia. (If you get the reference to the names, don't judge me. You're in the same boat.)

"Oh my goodness," Leesh exclaimed, "Look at you two."

Chandler twirled for them and I bowed.

"Pictures," Kris exclaimed, already pulling out her phone.

Chandler stood on my left and put his left hand on his waist, cocking slightly to the side. I could see that he was mimicking the typical girl pose that made us look like teapots. (I am a proud teapot guys. Don't be offended.)

I put my left arm around his waist and we both smiled while Kris took the picture.

Both of my friends laughed and begged us for one more.

I smiled and put my arms around Chandler's and resting them on his lower torso while my friends cackled in laughter and snapped away.

As we turned and walked to the school, I couldn't help but think about how different the world could be with one simple change.

Why can't it always be like this?

Topic: Wearing each other's clothes

I really liked this chapter and I kind of took the opportunity to express my views on pastel boys and tomboys. In society, people aren't very accepting of it and I think it's kind of unfair. "Normal" people find themselves able to talk about the pastels and tomboys, but they want to cry if you make fun of something like their hair. It's the same thing. Whether boys want to wear girl clothes or girls want to wear boy clothes, that should be their choice, not someone else's. I'm sorry for ranting, but I just had to get that off my chest because I read some pastel boy stories on Wattpad and in the comment, there are a lot of mean comments and if I can stop bullying by just a little, I'm going to try. Thank you for listening to my rant. Luv ya~Miki
