Randell's POV

I am now infront of my office ; dad called me last night and I wonder what "important thing" Is he going to say to me

"Here I am.." I sighed

As I entered my office, I noticed that theres a lot of changes since I left. My desk was placed near the glass window, the wallpaper has turned into a cream color, my shelves has nothing on It...and the thing that captures my attenion Is when I saw this:

Marko Neville (CEO Of Neville designs Incorporation)

No..It can't be..Marko Is the new CEO?!

"Randell"

I turned back...It's my father

I was speechless..we haven't seen each other since the day me and Kendra got separated...I was miserable,devastated,broke..and I spent each and every day In my condominium...I isolated myself from all the people around me.

"Have a seat..son"

I took my seat..infront of the CEO's desk..my dad sat on the opposite side as mine

I waited for my dad to continue...to explain to me every detail that I should know

"Randell...Marko Is the new CEO of our company..I hope theres no hard feelings towards you"

I just nodded..

"You know I really don't want to do this but you leave me no choice...our company Is facing some economic problems..I have retrenched a lot of good employees..good thing your brother Is there..willing to help"

"Okay" I managed to say despite with the heavy heart.."so...where are the papers that I need to sign In order for me to officially resign?" I gave a fake smile

I don't want to show to dad that I'm weak...I want to prove to him; that I am Randell Neville, a son that he should be proud of

I don't want him to see me as a big mistake/burden In his life

"You don't need to resign son"

"What do you mean dad?" I looked confuse at the same time nervous

"You will be the new boss of this company; I'll be retiring soon...my health doesn't help me anymore..and I need you and Marko to work together...will you do that for me..Randell?" Dad asked...

Aarghhh!!..I can't stand seeing Dad sad but I don't want to work In the company anymore..knowing that my older brother will be back and will soon be working with me..what could be a lot worse than that?

I must admit...Marko Is very professional and brilliant when It comes to business..so am I; but the only thing that differentiates us Is that: when he does something;he always see to It that he finished what he started...on the other hand, I always ended up not accomplishing anything at all.

Marko Is very high standard..he's the ideal son that any parents would like to have to.

We use to be close...but when our family was torn apart; everything fall out of place..he changed a lot

I noticed that dad has been waiting for my reply...

"Sure..Dad" I smiled..
