Randell's POV
"Get the job done" I said to my new hired, private investigator on the other line
"Yes sir, you can count on me" he answered back
I ended up the call, and as to my surprise Donatello was at standing near the door.
Was he standing there the whole time?
He should not now my real identity. No one should know about it.
"Who are you talking to, Jay?" He asked curiously
"Oh. Uhm. It's my friend" I lied. I have to.
"Mind if I know what's his name?" He raised his eyebrows
Is he having a suspicion?
"Connor" I answered once again
"Maybe I can help him with the thing youre telling him to do so?" He offered
I don't know what Donatello is thinking right now. He must have a feeling that im hiding something from them.
"No, It's okay. He can handle it alone" I defensively said
"You know, I want to meet him sometime. I bet he's hot like you" he grinned
"He's always busy" I said
He looks unconvince of my answer.
"I'll let you know if he's free" I assure
"Omg! Thanks" he hugged me tightly
"Does he have any girlfriend?" He asked.
"He's single" I said
He hugged me once again.
"Can you arrange me and Connor for a date?" He begged
"Uhm. Okay, sure." I said
"You know what?. You're the best!!" He yelled
Seriously? . Did I make him too happy for him to react that way?
As for Connor, I'll try to convince him to date Donatello. I just hope that he'll agree.
"Jena!!!. I have a good news!" He yelled
Jena went to the employee's room and she spotted Donatello jumping in joy
"What's going on?" She asked curiously
"Jay had arrange a date for me and his friend Connor!. Isn't it amazing?" He said excitedly
"Oh, congrats!" She said
I spotted a bit amount of dough in Jena's face
I went near her and removed the dough from her face
"Thats so sweet!. I have an idea!, let's make it a double date!" Donatello yelled once more
Jena got shocked of what Donatello had just said. Well i'm shock as well.
"Cmon guys don't be such a kill joy" Donatello said
"Uhm, Well fine. If it's fine with her" I sighed
Donatello looked Jena in the eyes; waiting for her to say yes as well
"Okay" she answered
"Nice one!!. See you guys in our double date!" Donatello left the employee's room
Well it's more of a friendly date. I guess.
