Randell's POV
"Is there anything I can do for you?" Connor looks bothered
"Come back bro. The company needs you so badly" he said directly
"What? . I don't understand" I wonder what happened
"Listen. Your brother is acting unprofessional. He scolds the employees everyday and even insults them" he complained
"Oh God." I shook my head
"Not only that, he fired Mr. Sanders" he added
"What?. Since when?" I just can't believe that Mr.Sanders is out of our company now.
"A while ago" Connor looks real mad.
"Well. What happened?" I want to know why Marko does cruel things
"Your brother got mad because there's been a mistake in the reports that Mr. Sanders prepared. For God sake!, he's 40 years old. Mr.Sanders is like a father to us and you know that" he looks frustated
"I--I..don't know what to say" I just can't believe that things will get a lot worse
"Randell, the company needs you now so badly." Connor looks serious
"But...you know i'm not still ready to go back" I answered
"You should know you're priority." He suddenly say
"What do you mean?" I bet I know where our conversation is heading to
"Jena or Neville designs incorporation?" He asked
Is he telling me to choose bewteen two things that are important to me?
"I love Jena so much, you know that. At the same time, dad's company is important to me as well" I sincerely said
"You can't choose both at the same time. It's either you let go of Jena or you go back to your dad's company. Take your pick" he said
Really? Should I really choose?. There's no sense to our conversation now
"I will not choose." I said firmly
"I supported you because you're my bestfriend. Not only that, you're like a brother to me already. And you know that" he pointed at me
"But this time, i'm asking for a favor and you can't just listen to me?. How selfish of you Randell" he looks disappointed
"I'm sorry if you feel that way. But will never let Jena go. " I said
He shook his head and left without saying another word.
His telling me to prioritize things by choosing between Jena and dad's company?. I can't just choose and sacrifice another. Both are important to me.
I wonder what happened to him. It seem like the Connor I used to know is different now.
