Randell's POV
"How is my dad now?" I immediately asked the doctor as soon as he went out of the emergency room
"He's still unconscious. But don't worry sir, we'll do everything we can" he assured me
The doctor left and I ended up waiting outside the emergency room again
Cm'on please wake up dad (I thought to myself)
I decided to checked my phone and as to my surprise I saw ten messages and seven miscalls from Jena. Oh no, I did not inform her that i'll be absent today. I called her right away. I wonder how she's doing right now. I mean, it will be very difficult for her to do both jobs at the same time. Damn,she's not answering the call. Maybe she's too busy right now, I should really meet her later.
"Randell" Marko was standing infront of me
I was about to stand up but he stopped me from doing so
"This is all your fault" He gave me a deadly look
"What are you talking about?. Are you blaming me?" I asked him straigthly
I just can't believe that he still has the guts to start a fight with me, despite dad's condition right now
"Yes, I am blaming you!. It is because of you that is why dad is lying on the hospital bed right now!" He raised his voice
I can't take this anymore. He can abuse me but I won't allow him to put the blame on me
I stood up and went near him, so we can look each other eye to eye
"If I were you I would not put the blame on others. Besides, dad needs us now. This is not the time and place for us to have a petty quarrell" I said
"How dare you say that he's your dad?. The moment you went out of our lives, you were no longer part of the Neville family" he pointed at me
"I left all of you not because I wanted to. You have no idea how I felt whenever I hear your conversation with dad. I thought I had already impressed you and dad. I've always thought that I had already make up for my mistake, when I did not tell dad about mom's guy. But you know what hurts the most?" I asked him
He just looked at me badly. "It is when I hear my own dad and brother not believing in my potential" I sighed
"So now it's our fault?" He asked me coldly
"Remember this, you are no longer a Neville and you will never be one again" he added
He was about to leave but I pulled him. "Get off me, you are no longer my brother" he pushed me hard
The security guards came and separated us
"Get out of this place!. We don't need you!" He shouted, as he was trying his best to get away from the security guards that were holding his arms
"Excuse me, but may I know if who's the son of Mr. Neville?" The doctor asked as soon as he came back
"Me" we said in unison
"Then I guess I need to explain the situation to the both of you" the doctor scratched his head
"Actually, i'm the only son of Mr. Neville" Marko complained
"I'm Randell Neville. Also the son of Mr. Grey Neville" I added, as I extended my hand for a handshake
The doctor accepted my handshake and told us to listen very well
"Mr.Grey Neville is awake now. Both of you can go in and see your father. Excuse me" the doctor left
"I'll go first" Marko looked at me badly and went inside the room
I just let him enter. Besides, I don't want dad to see us fight inside the room. That will make him more weak.
I'll do everything I can Marko. I'll prove you wrong.
