Nag-uusap kami ni Yuan sa sala ng aking unit. Yes, nandito na naman siya sa unit ko. I just can't believe all of these are happening to me.

"He's a jerk and he's not my husband!"I hissed.

Umikot ang mga mata ni Yuan sa hangin at napahalukipkip na lamang ako at napasandal sa couch. Nasa tapat ko naman siya nakaupo.

He sighed."I think, Angelo's not doing all of these para mahirapan ka..."tumaas ang kilay ko sa sinabi ni Yuan."He clearly wants to talk to you and I suggests, you give him-"

"No!"I cut him off."That, I would never do."I firmly said.

"How about Angelico? How would you get him if you don't have any plans on talking to his father?"

Napanguso ako at napaisip."I am his mother. I have all the rights over Ico."

The other side of Yuan's lips quirks up."Yeah. And he's the father."

Naiirita ko siyang tiningnan."I'll get Ico to him without any words!"

"Woah, calm down there! I'm not your jerk husband."he chuckled."But, do you really think he'll let it that way? I mean, no more talks with you and he's just going to give Angelico to you? That's too far from possible."umiling-iling pa siya."Why, Louise? Why don't you just give him a chance? It wouldn't be hard for you and for him if you'll do that. And, your son would be very happy to have a complete family."

Napalunok ako sa sinabi ni Yuan. I don't know if I should consider it. But, right now, I know to myself I can't. I can't just give him a chance that easy when in fact I don't know if I can ever forgive him.

"Hearing him is not a bad thing, Louise. If you're having a hard time forgiving him and giving him a chance to your life again, try to hear him first before deciding. Don't close your heart and mind, as well as your ears, Louise. Maybe, if you'll hear him, you'll be able to forgive him."

Buong magdamag kong pinag-isipan ang napag-usapan naming iyon ni Yuan at ang mga susunod kong hakbang. At hindi na naman ako pinatulog 'non sa pag-iisip. Simula ng makabalik ako dito sa US, wala na akong matinong tulog. My mind is always wandering about many things. I can't decide. Gusto ko ng makita si Ico pero alam kong hindi ko pa kayang harapin ang ama niya. F-ck this!

"What?!"napatayo ng biglaan si Yuan sa kanyang inuupuan dito sa maliit kong dining area ng marinig ang naging plano ko habang nag-aalmusal kami kinabukasan.

"Please, Yu..."I am hopeful.

"That's insane, Louise!"napahilot pa siya sa kanyang sentido habang nakatayo."You know your husband than any other, Louise. At alam mong hindi 'yon papayag na iuwi ko dito si Angelico sa US para makasama mo!"he shouted.

Napayuko ako."I know I am asking too much from you. And... I'm sorry for that, Yu."

Narinig ko ang marahas niyang pagbuga ng hininga."Louise! You asking to me isn't the issue here and please, drop it. I am more than willing to help you, but this? I don't think so. Mainit ang dugo sa akin ng asawa mo, alam mo ba 'yon?"mataman niya akong tinitigan.

I stared back."Why?"
