Chapter 18 - The Feast Of The Fallen

John pats Lux and walks inside a hut.
Lux shrugs and follows him inside.
Inside the hut is a bonfire in the centre with 4 chairs around it and a bed in the corner.
Next to the bed is a small chest.

John walks up to it and takes out a wine bottle, jug and 2 ceramic cups.

John says "i will be back in a moment, just foung to get water from the well."

Lux shakes his head and says "i can fill it with water. Hold it still."
Lux then casts the rain spell over the jug which begins to fill it till its half full then stops.

John atonished says "Thats handy, how do you do that."

Lux shrugs and says "I can use many different types of magic.
Fire, water, blood, space and nature."

John tilts his head and say "i thought only a PolyMorph could have multiple Magics inside of themselves."

Lux asks "What is a PolyMorph?"

John says "A polymorph is someone who has mastered our clans secret technique of Devouring.
The devouring technique is the ability to absorb demons into your body and then become a avatar of that demon.
In essence, you can take on the characteristics of the demon you devour.
The first warrior you faced used our secret skill, he took on the form of a steel wasp."

Lux whistles "whoa that sounds cool.
I wonder if i can learn it."

John shakes his head and says "sorry but even if you possessed the unique body to practice this skill, you are not a member of the tribe.
The tribes laws state that only native tribesmen can learn our heritage."

Lux sighs "oh well, probably don't have the special body anyway."

John then says "lets pour the wine and then continue talking."
He then pours the wine into the waterfilled jug till it is nearly full.
He then pours the diluted wine in to the 2 cups.
He hands one to Lux who says "thank you."
John raises his cup into the air and toasts "To new beginnings."
Lux raises his and replies "To new friendships."

They then both drink from the cups.
Lux then asks "so are there anyother tribes in black leaf forest?"

John nods his head and says "We know of one other tribe, they call themselves Sanguine Magicka tribe.
They use a foul magic which uses blood to harm people.
If they get anything from you like a knife or some blood, they can then turn you into a puppet or kill you instantly."

Lux shivers and says "that really is foul."
John says "they begun to attack us using demon beasts they had enslaved whith their magic.
To counter this we befriended other demon beasts to help defend our territory.
We feed them and in return they protect us.
This is why we were angry when you killed the lightning wolf, he was the most crucial defender as that direction is where the Sanguine Magicka Tribe came from."

Lux nods and says "I truely am sorry about that but he attacked me first.
I will stick around my cave and defend the territory till you get another demon to take over.
But remember that i leave in about a month as my training will be over then and i must return to my master."

John nods and says "Thank you, you don't need to do that.
I will have tamed another demon in about month anyway but your help will be gladly accepted."

Lux finishes his drinks and says" another please."

John does the same and says "I like your skill kid."

Outside the john littles home the feast has been prepared.
A villager knocks on John's door and says "John the feast is ready to begin. The moon is nearing its apex."
