Chapter 26 - The Truce

Lux and the Queen appear inside John Littles tree house.

The queen quickly lets go of Lux's arm, falls to her knees and begins to take deep breaths.

Lux pats her back and says "It ok. Most people need time to adjust after teleporting."

The queen manages to say "Where did you bring me?"

Lux calmly says "We are in the Devourer Clans village.
Don't worry, you are safe as long as you stay next to me.
This is the tribe chief's home."

The queen's face reddens as she angrily says "you brought me to the demons nest?!"

Lux shakes his head and calmly says "No. The 'demons nest' is really a tribe which has a unique technique which allows them to absorb demons which allows them to turn into the demon they absorbed.
They aren't really demons but are humans.
Wait here while i go get John Little the clan leader."

Lux then teleports into the village centre where john little is standing watching the village children play.

Lux teleports next to john and says "I have a suprise waiting in your house for you."

John little jumps from fright and shouts "Lux stop doing that.
My heart nearly knocked my teeth out!!"

Lux laughs and says "take a deep breath."

John panics and shouts "no no no no!
Let me go!"

Lux quickly grabs johns hand and teleports back inside johns house.

When they appear lux let john go.
John falls on his face and begins to slow regain his breath.

John mutters quietly "why can't we just walk like normal people."

Lux laughs and looks around the house for the Queen.

Lux sees her hiding under the bed.

Lux turns to John and says "now john, the surprise I have for you concerns the Sanguine Magicka tribe.
I have brought their queen to meet you and see that you aren't Demons."

John slowly stands and says "Well where is she then?"

Lux waves at the bed and says "She is under there.
Queen do you want to come out."

The queen quickly exits the bed and stands up.
She then walks over to john little and begins to study him.

John stays still and asks "What is your name?
Why are you looking at me like i am a horse?"

The queen smiles and says "If you let me check your soul and i see that it is human then i will tell you my Name."

John looks at Lux and asks "can i trust her?"

Lux nods and looks at the queen and says "Do not try and use Tyrants Grasp to tame him. He is my friend and i will defend him if you attack."

The queen nods and says "I promise to be careful Chosen"

The queen then places her hand against John Littles chest and begins to search his soul.

After a minute she takes her hand back and says in suprise "you really are humans?
I am sorry my tribe attacked your own.
We really thought you were demons who could change into humans.
Your tribe technique is really unique."

John calmly says "we accept your apology as long as you sign a truce with our tribe which states you will never attack us again "

The queen bows and says "I will sign this truce.
I will aso tell you my Name.
It is Grace Sanguine, queen of Sanguine magicka Tribe."
