Chris and Chachi had been instructed that as far as Davide was concerned, they were to be as vague as possible when it came to the new girl. The idea was that the lack of information would intrigue him and therefore get him to go to the club himself.

Of course, Matteo knew, that eventually someone would tell him about the masked beauty named Nicky...

"You okay?" Chachi asked, noting that Nicky looked a bit down.

"Yeah, I'm good, a little disappointed." Nicky said.

"Why?" Chachi asked.

"Because I've been here a week and a half and there's still no sign of him." Nicky said, making Chachi laugh.

"Are you kidding me? It's only been a week and a half, you have to be patient. I told you he hardly comes anymore." Chachi said.

"Well, I thought you guys were supposed to tell him about me?" Nicky asked.

"We are- when he asks." Chachi replied.

"Oh. I'm sorry- I'm inpatient. It's been like 5 years." Nicky said.

"Has it already been so long?" Chachi asked.

"Four and half... since I left." Nicky said. "But I did see him once."

Chachi looked at Nicky who was looking down.

"Where?" Chachi asked, wondering where the two might have met.

"At my sister's wedding." Nicky said simply. Chachi nodded- she had almost forgotten that Nicky wasn't really Nicky but a proper socialite who had met Davide before coming here.

"Well- he'll come around. Don't loose hope." Chachi said. Nicky nodded.

"Who'll come around?" Gina said, suddenly approaching the bar. Nicky sighed.

"Can't you see this is a private conversation?" Chachi asked. Gina lifted her brow.

"How touchy. Listen, Chachi- I only came up to tell you the midnight dance is coming up." Gina said.

"Shit, that's right. Where's Chris?" Chachi said, looking around.

"That's what I was saying- he had to take a call." Gina said.

"Alright- Who's up tonight? I'll go make the announcement." Chachi said, about to leave the bar.

"And leave the bar unattended? No way. I'll do it." Gina said. Chachi lifted her brow.

"You?" Chachi asked.

"Why not? It can't be too hard, spotlight on stage announce name...push play." Gina said.

"Okay, why not." Chachi said with a shrug.

"Great, on my way." Gina said, moving towards the microphone and controls that were not too far.

"I don't recall her being this helpful." Nicky said.

"She has her moments." Chachi replied. "So, what did your table need?"

"Oh, right. Two Whiskeys and a double of Patron." Nicky said, putting her tray down.

"Good Evening Gentlemen, A special treat tonight, for the first time in 5 years, please put your hands together for the Princess of St. Vincent."

Chachi turned in a stupefied fashion towards Gina who was grinning as she moved the spot light to Nicky.

Vada was frozen- had that really just happened?

She looked around as everyone began to clap and root her on, the other girls clapping as well.

"Nicky- you stay here, I'll take care of this." Chachi said, about to go to her but Vada shook her head, a smile on her lips.
