  For the remainder of that night, I can't say my nightmares were any better. Before, all I dreamt about was an awful feeling, but I could not remember from what. Now, the butler appeared in my dreams, yet he wasn't comforting to me there. It was almost as if I was frozen in time the moment when I was trying to figure out what he was hiding, or the moment I realized his eyes were red. I felt a certain terror about the dream—of him, of something else, for him, for myself, I wasn't sure.

My question was answered when, in the dream, his eyes turned fuchsia and he showed sharp canine teeth in a wicked smile.

It was all of those in one.
