Aphmau's POV
We arrived at prom. It looks so cool. The girls and I were linking arms. We sit down at the table. Kaytlen and I got up to go eat. Because why not! It's free FUUUUUUUUD! Once I got my food Briney and Ivy came over. Oh! My! God! Girls! It's the potato freak! Looks like she is a werefox now! Finally! Something that distracts people from that hideous face! She said. Everyone stopped and looked. Where did you get that dress? The dump? She asked. Where did you get that face? A pig? I asked her. My face looks nothing like a pigs! She yelled. Your right! It's more like alligator! I told her. I see a monkey. Kia said walking by. I see the boogie man with make up. Gene said walking by with Kia. Ivy stormed off. I laughed with my friends. When one of my favorite songs came on. *Cue music* I dragged Kaytlen, Nicole, and Cadenza to the dance floor. This is fun. When the song was over we sat back down. It was a slow song. I saw Travis ask Kaytlen, Dante asked Nicole, Vincent asked Cadenza. Why is such a pretty lady like you sitting? Some one asked. I turned around. It was Laurence. Hey Laurence! I told him. C'mon lets dance! He said. Ok I guess! I told him. Then he dragged me to the dance floor. Then we started dancing. You look lovely as a fairy. He whispered in my ear. Thanks. I whispered back. So? What's wrong? He asked. I just can't help thinking about Lady Fénix. I told him. Why? He asked. Well... if we were back in there time. Where was she? Where were her friends? I asked him. That is actually a really good question. He said. Then he dipped me. But! Don't worry about that stuff right now! This is our one night that we can have fun. We don't have to worry about Mike or Max or the pbs or Lady fénix! He told me. Your right! I should be having fun! I told him. Thanks. I said. Any time! He told me. Then the song ended.
Mike's POV
I stood there watching Laurence and Aph dance. They seemed to be talking about something I couldn't hear. I gave daggers to Laurence. He touched MY Aphmau! He will pay for this! I looked at Max. He was staring at Aphmau with love in his eyes. What is wrong with him? He never does this! He is spacing out...He gave a half smile. Max? Are you ok? I asked him. He shook his head violently. Huh? What? He asked as if he just got pulled out of his thoughts. Are you ok? I asked him again. Oh....yeah...I'm just..... remembering the good times. He said. Hm. Weird.
Max's POV
When Mike finished talking to me I spaced out again. I remember when Aph and I first met.

I walk into the school. There is so many people. I walk with my head down into the principal's office. Sky and his group transferred with me. But they weren't in the office. Then I saw a guy with blond hair, brown eyes and tan skin sitting there with his arms crossed. Why do I have to show the stupid ugly new brat around!? He asked the principal. He didn't see me. Now Max calm down! Behind you! She said kindly. What's behind me! I don't need to calm down! I want to go to basketball practice! He yelled. He turns around. I'm sorry! But you don't have to be mean! It's not like I wanted you to show me around! I'll just have my friends do it! I yelled at him. Aphmau wait! The principal said. No I'll just have my friends do it. It'll be fine! I told her. No! Wait I didn't mean it! Max said. Yeah ok! Sure! I told him. Then I walked out. I ran to my locker. Da da da! Princess with a gun! Do do do da-da-do! Ross whispered. I hear you Ross! I told him. I'm not Ross! I'm Princess with a gun! He said. I giggled. Then the rest of Sky's group came over. So Jess how have you been? Sky asked. I've been fine! I told him. Can we go to Ihop? Ross asked. No! Bad! Bad Ross! No Ihop! Jin said. I laughed. I shut my locker and face towards them. Only to get pushed out of the way. I was pushed across the hallway and hit the wall. Max pushed me! I got up.

Max's POV

I was complaining to the principal. she told me to turn around. I listened. I saw this really cute girl with midnight black hair, chocolate colored eyes, and sun kissed skin. She looked a little hurt. She had an angelic voice. No! Wait! I didn't mean it! I tried. yeah ok! Sure! She said then stormed off. She looked pretty wimpy...but she was cute. I ran down the hall to my friends. Or sky's group I call them. I slid to a halt. I bumped into someone but I don't know who. Doesn't matter right now though. Guys! I was mean to be new girl! Then she stormed off! I said. New girl? Sky questioned. Yeah! This really wimpy girl named Aphmau! I said said smiling. They looked at each other. A-Aphmau! Sky said. YOU MESSED WITH APHMAU! DUDE YOUR DEAD! Jin yelled. Why? She couldnt hurt a fly! I said laughing. Dude! Aphmau is our friend! Sky said. What! I almost yelled. Behind you! Ross said. When I turned around Aphmau punched me in the arm and slapped me. Ow! How do you hit so hard! I asked. I was on the ground. Dude! Shes a fighting pros! Barney said. Next time! Don't push me! And call me wimpy! She yelled at me.

Max's POV
Ever since that day we started to become friends more and more. Then one day I asked her out. I was surprised that she said yes. Then I put her in the hospital. And she broke up with me. I was a idiot. I couldn't control my anger. All Shadow knights can't control their temper. Even Kia. But instead of getting mad and hurting Aph he punched the door frame. But while she was in the hospital I wouldn't leave her side. I fell asleep crying because of what I did. I was supposed to love her...protect her....not hurt her. I was supposed to care for her. But I didn't. I still and always will love her with all my heart. Until the day I die. I love her, always have, always will.
