Aaron's POV
I woke up to the sun in my eyes. The sun coming in through the window was bright. I got up and yawned. As I stretched I blinked the sleep out of my eyes. I looked down and saw my potato sleeping. I saw a piece of paper on the window. I open it and grab the paper.
Sleep... sleep...sleep... that's what you need... for when we fight you'll need it... An attack will come soon, so you better plan... plan a plan to beat us... which you will... that is... unless we know what you are going to do... you have a mole amongst you. Betrayal can be devastating... but someone told us your plans... so you have two choices... make them new or surrender. It's your choice.
I glared at the note. "Aaron...? What's wrong?" Aphmau asked. I didn't answer just reread the note. "What's that?" She asked as she took the note from me. She read it. Then she ran outside. I followed.
Aphmau's POV
Everyone was already outside waiting. They smiled as they saw me. "Group leaders, my room. Now. We have something urgent to discuss." I told them. Then I went back into my room clutching the note in my fist. Aaron came in first. I sat down in a chair and rubbed my head. "Why would anyone want to give away our plans...? Why would anyone want them to win...? They are evil... just why Aaron...?" I asked him. He just stared at me. "I don't know..." he said after a while. "We can't even make new plans...!" I said getting frustrated. Everyone came in. "What is it Aph?" Laurence asked. "There is a traitor... that told the evil side our plans." I told them. They all looked at me shocked except for Aaron. "Aaron found this note. We can't make new plans... not with the traitor loose. You guys are the only people who know the plans." I told them. "And whosever the traitor is... just know that I am VERY disappointed in you." I said. They looked around glaring at each other. "I don't want you guys to start blaming each other." I told them. They looked at me. "We are going to have to work twice as hard to get ready for the war. To make sure our plan works. And the traitor, know that this war determines the fate of Phoenix Drop. Meaning if we lose... then it's all over. Our village won't ever be the same again. And nothing can go back like it once was." I said. They all just stared at me. "Today, we will be playing prop hunt. This is so we will be able to blend into our surroundings. The werewolves and werefoxes will be the seekers and the rest will be the hiders. We have to hide as something in the forest and blend in. If you survive 5 minutes without being found then you win. There is some transformation dust that will transform you into anything in the forest that you want in the chest. Go and tell the rest of the people this." I told them. They all walked away. I sighed and tried to think of who the traitor could be. I looked up from the ground to see Aaron. He was in his werewolf form again. "Hey Aaron." I said. "Hey Aph..." he answered. "Have you seen anyone suspicious?" He asked. I shook my head. "Everyone acts like they usually do." I told him. I looked out my window to see everyone training in their groups a little. "Everyone just acts like the people I know they are... my friends." I said smiling a little. "Aph... I know how stressed out you must be... first having to send the kids away... teaching everyone combat... and now to have a traitor...." he said trailing off. I nodded. "Come on... I'm going to take you away from this for a while." He said. I looked at him and smiled. "I have to many things to do." I told him. He smiled deviously. "I wasn't asking." He said. Then he grabbed my hand and pulled me out of my house and into the forest. He led me to the treehouse. We climbed up to the roof. "It's a beautiful view." He said. I nodded at the view we got. "Aph... I want you to know something..." he said. I turned to him. "Aph... Anything I do is to protect you... I would never want to hurt you. I swear I would protect you with my life if the chance came. You make me happy." He said while grabbing my hand. I looked into his eyes. "Aph... I really... really... really like you.... a lot. I swear I won't let anyone or thing hurt you." He said. I was frozen. I stared into his dark eyes. "S-stop..." I stuttered out. He looked at me confused and hurt. He let go of my hand. "W-what...?" He asked hurt. "Stop... Your going to make me fall for you." I said looking away from his eyes. He laughed. "Don't worry about it..." he laughed. "No..." I said. "Why are you worried about that?" He asked cupping my cheek with his hand. "Because I'm scared that you might not catch me if I fall." I said. He smiled at me warmly. "I will always catch you." He said. I looked into his eyes. "How do you know?" I asked him. He looked at me shocked. Then he calmed down. "I don't." He said simply. "Then how do I know your going to catch me?" I asked him. He stared into my eyes. "You don't ." He said smiling. "But that's where your going to have to trust me on it. Aph... I would never let you fall if I have a chance to catch you... if I am able to catch you... then I swear on Irene that I will." He said. He kissed my head. I smiled at him and blushed. I haven't fallen for him. Not yet anyway... but when I do... I know that he will catch me... I smiled as I laid down and looked at the sky.
