What Have I Done

And out came Luke 's parents and mine . I was shocked to see them  because I thought they finished catching up at the beach house . I felt really embrrassed since I had one  tear drop down my check when , I was talking to Luke . I quickly wiped  away that tear and turned around to face my parents and  his .

"Hi Mr and Mrs Anderson , mom dad ," I said. 
"Hi dear , where have you two  been all day ?" My mother asked.
"We were at work , and I offered Jessica  a ride home ," Luke said .

"Yeah ," I said
"Ohh okay , how sweet of you to be such a gentleman to her ," Mrs.  Anderson said.

That is such a lie . I said in my head .
"Well goodnight Alexa and Andrew ," My parents said.
"Goodnight , and goodnight Jessica ," Mrs.  Anderson said.
"Luke , we got here by Jessica 's parents car . Take us home please ," Mrs. Anderson said.

"Okay mom ," He said and with that ,  he left .

******Midnight ********

I couldn't sleep at all . I kept turning in my bed , trying to find a comfy spot in my bed to sleep on but it wasn't that . It  was my mind.  It was going crazy .

My phone buzzed . I picked it up and saw a text . I opened it , and saw it was from Luke . I ignored it and put my phone away .

*15 buzzes later *

I pickd up my phone and in frustration and texted  him ...

J -   Can you please stop texting me .
L-   Nope .
L-   We need to talk .
J-    We are talking right now .
L-    Funny , but not so much . I want to talk about why you didn't tell me you were feeling this way .
J-    I don't know . I don't like telling my boss about my personal life and feelings .
L-   I know it's personal but not so much .
J-    Yes it is . Your my boss .
L-    I know that but I am your friend somehow , right ?
J-     Nope your boss and nothing  else but that . That's how I feel about this dating thing .
L-    Why can't I just prove to you that I  would like to date you .
J-       No
L -    Why ?
J-       Cause I said so .
L-      Please.

He typed the word please until I couldn't take it anymore so I said 

J-     Okay , fine but only one date .
L-     Really ?
J-        Yes . No need for pressure ,  but one chance to finally in your life not screw up on the first uhhh
L-     You wouldnt even type and call it a date .
J-     That's because you didn't ask me if it was a date .

I just realized that I was dating Ryan and I said yes to Luke .
I was in deep trouble .
